He arranged it so that it accelerando's about a third of the way through. At another point it changes to compound (6/8) meter. Nothing's "wrong" with, it's just been reimagined.

This is very good, though not all of it is like the Good Egg Galaxy music, I wouldn't say your missing a few notes, I'd just say you replaced a bunch of notes with something else.

But it is still very good, I like this.

Whoah, I don't know how/why I'm getting negative comments for this. I was just giving some good and helpful criticism. The notes are wrong, and the pitch is off. It's only facts. I didn't say it was bad or anything. Oh, and to answer your question. Yes, I can do better (not to be mean, but I have been playing piano for about 2 years now). I'll upload a video soon enough of me playing good egg galaxy, star festival, tetris, super mario overworld, the entertainer, etc.

That's because you don't record your first try and upload it to YouTube. You listen to the song dozens of times, refine your arrangement, practice, then post.

Also, the song used a little more than three chords. Many people around here have damn bad ears. I know some people may find it hard to figure out songs by ear, but it's really just trial and error.
