Russell is surprisingly good. What makes his performance remarkable is that this is Elvis' song.  Don't think anyone copies Elvis with much success.

I have been watch several Russell Watson videos now that I looked him up because my favorite is his version of Faith of the Heart (Enterprise song, and yes Rod Stewart did the first version theme song for Patch Adams movie), I didn't realize Russell sang so many genres, Italian, classics, 50's, some rock. He started in Kareoke, he seems to mimick some styles and perhaps why he became versatile. I'd like to see him really break through with his own sound, which I agree, no one sounds like Elvis!

Interesting comparison...when shown together, Elvis may have been the King in his day, but the VOICE has it way over him vocally.  Rich, full--way to sing, Russell. Hope you are on the way to a complete recovery!
