@nickernosher Yeah he should go all out full throttle with his brand new untested race car with unknown (to him) driving characteristics on a public road stuffed with traffic rather than staying behind and checking for incoming cars on the opposite side, and ofcourse with no coasting so as to have greater chances of blowing the (not too much prior to first run) new pistons and cylinder bore before it has even been driven in correctly. And here I was thinking just the opposite! Stupid me.. :P

@ToreDL87 blactop for my own h/b sr corrola i also have a silver top engine complete with box, silvertop is destined for a ae 86 but these boy racers never have cash with all the hair gel they have to buy so im thinking the silvers bottom end will be going in with the bk head into my corrola. sorry for being rude lol.. i said what i saw.. and what i meant is where i learned my trade if he came to collect his built motor.. he wouldnt be let run it in.. would you stand over it!!?? i wouldnt it..

I agree I wouldnt have dropped the iron as much as in the vid when I get my engine though (Currently having a AE92 Kouki block fitted with 1627cc toda pistons, rebalanced stock rods and crank, general overhaul w/TRD gaskets, bearings, etc, use the old Gr.A Rally head refitted with TRD consumer parts.)

I`d go 4age, many more advantages: Lighter weight, less fuel consumption, polishes your skills and techniques more so you wont rely as much on just power, makes you more versatile.
