Lol izybuffen (and other people who think all gearboxes sound the same) its a non radial gearbox. It will sound like that, especially from the outside camera. Doh!!!!

what a bunch of dumbasses....i guess no one here is mechanic ? this gearbox has strait sprockets in gearbox not radial thats why sounds like that....back than you need to have gearbox like that if you want to shift quick..with strait sprockets you force the gearbox to shift quicker

Anyway, I've always wondered this about the turbo cars. That quick light revving that starts a 1:28; why does that happen and does the driver have to do that or is there some sort of computer mode that does that?

sounds like a real one Renault 1496 ccm Turbo, V6T version engine. But they de-tune that to protect parts - approx from 800 bhp to 600 or less

This car in qually had 1450 HP and in race 800-900 (because of the fuel-refueling was forbidden back then)
