Have any of you guys heard of something called Allum it's a powdered substance and it cost about 3.25 a bottle at your local pharmacy just put it where the moistened crack is what it does it soaks up any moisture while at the same time creating an artificial scab untill it is naturally healed, all you gotta do is of course make sure your mouth is super clean use some type of alcohol swab and clean the area around your mouth then take a q-tip dip it in the allum and put it directly on the spot a
1. Brush your teeth, floss, make sure your hands, face and mouth are very very clean.
2. Wash the outside of your mouth (especially the sores) with harsh dishsoap. This dries out the fungi in the sores so that they die. Wait 5-10 minutes.
3. Put vaseline on your lips, including the corners of your mouth. After a few hours, wipe off the excess vaseline and see if the sores are smaller. Repeat a few times a day as needed.

Also, try brushing your teeth with baking soda at least until the sores heal, then put either undiluted tea tree oil on the area, or tea tree oil mixed with some vitamin e oil or something, and then cover with vaseline. Repeat at least a few times a day. once the infection is gone, just put on a little bit of tea tree oil on before you go to bed, so your skin doesn't get too dry.

Try this: rub undiluted tea tree oil over the affected area. You will inevitably get a small amount in your mouth, but just spit it out. It will probably sting a bit too, but do not let this put you off.
Leave the tea to dry then daub Vaseline petroleum jelly over the area . The tea tree is antifungal and anti bacterial, and the Vaseline works by covering the area and thus not allowing the sores to heal whilst inhibiting re-infection Do this twice a day for a week . Good luck.

I personally find putting hand sanitizer on the location directly a few times a day eases the pain and gets rid of it.

Here is the best way you can do. Cost $0. First of all is "DO NOT LICK, DO NOT TOUCH" and then do:
1. Boil water in a pot with lid on.
2. Collect the distilled water from the lid.
3. Dip the water, and clean the corner, 7-8 times a day.

Here is the $70 cure this redneck is trying to pull over you. Worked for me in 2 - 3 days.
1. Floss and brush your teeth
2. Sanitize your mouth and surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol or other sanitizer (i.e. Purell)
3. Wash the outside of your mouth with dishsoap. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Wait for 2 minutes.
4. Apply Vaseline to your lips.
