  • godzilla's revenge sucked

  • ooops. Thats spelled, c a N o n...

  • "...my homie, ..." stems from th nearly 20 yr old coloquialism I first on the original Miami Vice. It became popular to refer to a friend or associate as 'My Home-boy...'. This slanged into 'homes'(pronounced, as you say, 'Holmes', But in fact has nothing to do with the Sir Arther Cannon Doyle slueth). For clarity, I spelled it this way: 'hom(e)z', which obviously didn't work. Sorry.

  • I like Godzilla's revenge it's a good movie

  • The only thing good about Godzilla's Revenge was Gabera(the monster, not the bully). True, this was an imagined monster, but potentialy a good opponant. I am most fond of the Hesie era G-series & it annoys me that Toho ended it with(spoiler) U-KNOW-WHO coming back to life at the end of GvsDestroyer. I would have continued 'Hesie Era' with U-KNOW-WHO taking on the mantle of G. One of the 1st enemies I would bring in would be none other than Gabera, himself, except more deadlier! A wink to fans!

  • I will give the U.S. credit for making Godzilla's Revenge appear watchable!

  • Godzilla finally gets his revenge on....the armies and monsters he already defeated??

  • GODZILLA'S REVENGE?! KILL ME, PLEASE KILL ME!

I love Godzilla, but that one is the worst one ever made, no matter how you look at it.

  • @ROOKI3LINKX even worse than the American movie?

  • @darkservantofheaven That doesn't count as a Godzilla movie. To Oh offiacially renamed the monster Zilla

  • @ROOKI3LINKX then they had the TRUE KING OF THE MONSTERS utterly destroy his lame ass!!

  • @darkservantofheaven That was To Oh's "Fuck you!" to Tristar :)

  • @darkservantofheaven YES...even WORSE. The american movie wasn't as bad as this. REALLY--would you rather tolerate the Taxi-in-mouth scene? Or a size changing Baby-G talking like Barney the purlple embarrisment? I rest my case.

  • @Velocity9s oh yeah....I gotta agree with you there....I hated Minya when he popped up in son of godzilla, I hated him more in revenge! thank goodness 4 the 1990s baby Godzilla and Godzilla junior cute, the adroable little(well not so little) bad ass!

  • @darkservantofheaven The bad moments in Baby-G's Hesie Era are in 'GvsSapce-G'. Speaking of that; WHAT--they couldn't come up with a better title? Again, If I were in charge, I'd at least title it 'Godzilla vs the Cosmic Monster' as a well devised twist-homage to the 70,s. Mogera would look WAY leaner, no seperating sections & with HANDS!!! I'd even do a modern Jet Jaguar & NO SIZE CHANGING POWERS! JJ tech' would be gleaned from wreckeg from robots & Mother(GvsKing-Gh). Antigrav inhanced powers,

  • @Velocity9s I like that, but Id also change Space Godzilla's name, s cool as the monster was, hes name was dumb. Galacticzilla would sound a little better, and Id remoove Mogera all together and give Mothra more seens (like have her be the one fighting in space against SG, but being defeated) Plus Id have a much better plot with a less complicated story

  • @darkservantofheaven Aparently Toho was distributing Gamera movies in the 90s.....why the fuck didnt we get a godzilla vs gamera movie!

  • @darkservantofheaven I read about this proposed crossover. But it wouldn't work: 1)The Gamera sets are built to a larger scale for more detail so Gam' is actually half Godz' size(Yes, I'm aware of the Kong/Godz' size relationship), 2)Even if Gam' were the same size, he would be lacking in power & stamina. Fact:Godz' easily takes multible missle blasts. He's even been killed in some Hesie Era movies. Fact:Gam' was shot from the sky with ONE S.A.Missle. Item:It takes days for Gam' to heal. MORE-->

  • @darkservantofheaven CONTINUED--->Fact:Godzilla, heals from most attacks almost instantly. Item: Gamera has an advantage with his flight(Why did they call it, 'Guardian of the Universe' when he barely leaves the planet?!). Gamera was my fave' as a kid, but Godzilla is 10 times powerful & durable. He swam for days thru' molten magma! He died by Cadmium missles down the throat. They blew his heart up by piercing it with 'shock-ancors'. (Spoiler!)He lives on thru' his son after TOTAL meltdown. See?

  • @Velocity9s I wouldnt say he "died" due to the cadmium, he was severally weakened, and his heart was healed in the very same movie (GVSMG2) and yeah I never got why they called him Guardian of the universe, he never left he planet, and so what if he is the Guardian of the Universe, Godzilla is the King of the Monsters! I keep telling my homie, that godzilla would massacre that turtle!

  • @darkservantofheaven He died in Godzilla Returns/1985. Cadmium slows down nuclear reactions. In this case, listen & observe carefully that scene. The camera zooms in on Godzilla's chest as it stops moving & we hear the heart stop beating. If that knuckle head on the 'signal boat' in the Tokyo Bay Harbor had not caused that nuke to launch from where-ever, the U.S. missle would never have caused it to explode OVER Tokyo(DURING A LIGHTENING STORM??!!). Atomically laced lightening stuck G & so on.

  • @darkservantofheaven You "homie"? Well....just say, "Yo, hom(e)z--Turtle ain't got no longevity. Turtle is all cool style when in flight, but his nads are lackin', you feel me, my brotha-from-anotha-motha?" or some such coloqialism like that. I crack my self up, sometime...

  • @Velocity9s yeah that pretty much sums up our G vs G conversations...and its Holmes like sherlock Holmes...got it dude?

  • @darkservantofheaven Lets stream-line the name even more: Starzilla- um...no, Cosmozilla-too wordy, GalactAzilla-better!(note the dropped 'c'), more streamlined is 'Galazilla'. I agree on the actual RETURN of Mothra, scenes re-entering the atmosphere at the '11th hour' would be AWESOME! She IS defeated, but Godzilla, whom seemed down for the count comes back strong, finishing the fight, inadvertently saving her life. We'd see reactions of the Cosmo's & Sagusa. Baby-G would look less Anime-ish.

  • @Velocity9s I like that, It would show Godzilla is truly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to his seed and possible his Alies, also have Godzilla fall into the sea, but we see a hint of red in his flesh due to his recent use of the red radioactive ray, that way we get a hint that his life is almost over

  • @ROOKI3LINKX I AGREE!!!!

  • Enough with the alternate titles distributars it's Godzilla vs. Gigan, not Godzilla on Monster Island, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, not Godzilla vs. the Bionic or Cosmic Monster, and Terror of Mechagodzilla not Terror of Godzilla and enough with the name changes it's Jet Jaguar, not Robot Man and it's Mechagodzilla not the Bionic Monster or the Cosmic Monster

  • @snakes3425 multiple titles kinda fooled me as a kid for buying the same movie sometimes twice without even knowing it

  • Godzilla is the best, but Son of Godzilla, Godzilla's Revenge and Godzilla vs. Hedorah/the Smog Monster, are down right terrible excuses for Godzilla movies. why? I don't want to see Godzilla as a babysitter for the most annoying things ever put on film (Minilla/Godzilla's Son in name only and the kid from Godzilla's Revenge) and then reduced to being a glorified garbageman with the worst so bad it's good song ever written playing in the background.

  • @toa977 Godzilla movies in the United States have had various names through out the years. TERROR OF GODZILLA was the original theatrical title in 1978 (I think). For later releases and home video it was TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA.

  • the breathing sounds at 1:00 are kinda creepy. thats not in the movie.

  • The Terror Of Godzilla Was My 1st Movie I Went To See In Theatres Back In 77 That Movie Is Still The Best

  • All three of these compilations are awesome, man. Great job gathering all these trailers together, especially the rarer ones.

  • I should note the edited theatrical version was released by Bob Conn Enterprises. The (virtually) uncut U.S. T.V. version of "Terror of Mechagodzilla" also contained a 10 minute prologue with stock footage from MONSTER ZERO, GODZILLA VS. THE SEA MONSTER, & SON OF GODZILLA. This version (with the prologue) was finally released by Classic Media on DVD in 2007. The only scene missing from this version is (again) the shot of Katsura's fake breasts. It is, however present on the Japanese version.

  • "TERROR OF GODZILLA" was the title of the original, (edited for a G Rating) U.S. version released to theaters in 1977. Unfortunately, this was also the version that was released to home video by Paramount in the 1980's and 90's, and again by Simitar in the 90's. Another version of the film was released to TV in 77' with the title "Terror of Mechagodzilla", and was virtually uncut with the exception of a few scenes (Katsura's fake breasts, for example).

  • mouth doesn't move at all at 1:06 GODZILLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • do u have these on reels? thats pretty cool

  • thats weird that they first called it terror of godzilla

  • cool they used its alternate tittle in the gigan trailer
