I loved the movie too.. as we get to see Surge in a cameo... I also love Alen Young too... I grew up watcing Axel and crew since I was 13 in 1984... I was so sad when Axel's boss got killed... :-( It was also the last movie I ever got to see in a movie theater with my dad... He died July 13th 09.. So their is some emotional connection to this movie... Judge and Eddie made the films what they are...

Which is exactly why Bruckheimer and Simpson had nothing to do with it. Not to mention I think they had already gotten fired from their Paramount deal and had set up shop with Disney.

I never saw this movie, but I also never drank poison either, and I know better than to do either one of those things...

exactly, without Bruckheimer and Simpson, the movie turned out to be a slapstick and a sort of parody of the first 2 movies. The whole movie just felt off and totally wrong. Even though Eddie is throwing F bombs here and there, Billy is turned into a complete idiot, while the villian is a sort of campy buffoon.

Also, the music was pretty crap. I did like the orchestral arrangement of the Axel F theme at the end, but the rest of the score was just rubbish. I wish Faltermeyer comes back for part 4

I actually liked it. The score when Axel saves the kids on the ride, and the score when he gets caught watching the money printing operation and has to fight the henchmen on the scaffolding was pretty good in my opinion.

There were problems abound with this movie, but the score was not one of them.

Personally I think Rodgers & Hilton murdered the original with this, not as bad a Clock or Crazy Frog, but close. I guess that's coz I'm an 80's kid, and such an avid Faltermeyer fan.

Still never ceases to amze me where Mugaesunnt keeps finding them from :)

Part of the reason the 3rd movie was not as good as the first 2 is that it had this butchered version of the Axel F. instrumental. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but someone decided to distort the theme song. Bad move.
