the mark of the beast is basically keeping the sunday instead of saturday as the God's day of worship &rest, I didn’t believe it but it’s in the Bible..the pope under the cover of NWO is misleading the people to think that it’s a simple chipXD
I can not completely be sure, but I believe this film footage originated from a documentary shot by my grand uncle James Slevin in 1914. He shot a six reel film documentary in the Vatican.
@chitone_Questi Sono coloro che si Credono: Dio in Terra!! Allontanatevi da Loro. Chi si Innalza; verra Abbassato, Non Chiamate Nessuno: Santo Padre Qui sulla Terra, Perche :solo uno lo e`Il Padre dei Cieli, L`ONNIPOTENTE.Matteo 23: v..9, 12, )
@chitone@sailorwinxgirl He is making the sign of the Cross. The sign of the Cross has been used by Christians to bless one another since the 100s. Most Christians still use the sign of the Cross, though many Protestants do not. Pope Benedict XV's motion was very fluid (exaggerated by the speeding up of the film of this clip), but papal blessings tend to be smaller, because they do it a lot, and sometimes not immediately recognizable as the ancient sign of the cross.

Such an underestimated man. He was an amazingly good Pope. He was left a Church to rescue, which had been laid low by the disasterous Papacy of Pius X. He also had WW 1 to contend with. It is so sad that he never seems to get the credit he deserves. Perhaps the current Pontiff has begun the redress of this balance by choosing to be called Benedict.
O God, Who by Thine unspeakable providence was pleased to number Thy servant, Pope Benedict XV among the Sovereign Pontiffs, grant, we beseech Thee, that he who reigned as the vicar of Thy Son on earth, may be joined in fellowship with Thy holy Pontiffs forevermore. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Pope Benedict XV (Latin: Benedictus PP. XV, Italian: Benedetto XV; 21 November 1854 - 22 January 1922), born Giacomo Paolo Giovanni Battista della Chiesa, reigned as Pope from 3 September 1914 to 22 January 1922, succeeding Pope Pius X (1903 - 1914). His pontificate was largely overshadowed by World War I and its political, social and humanitarian consequences in Europe.
I dont know that much about Benedict XV, either than he was greatly devoted to the brown scapular, and that he was an advocate during WWI. But I think that's all I SHOULD know. He is a great man, a great pope of dignity, and honor. thanks you for sharing this video.
I was raised Episcopalian but truth be told i have always said many a prayer to deceased popes. and i would have to say without a doubt that Pope Benedict XV and Sylverster I are my favorite popes of all time.
Benedict was in my mind the last of the traditional popes to sit on St. Peters Throne, he isnt remembered as much as he should be, but in my heart and prayers he is remembered quite often.
I pray that heaven would always bless and keep the memory of this humble servant of peace.
If you are Episcopalian, then why would you pray to a Pope, or a saint for that matter? Protestants reject prayer to saints.
Moreover, why would you pray to a Pope who held Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus? Surley this is a contradictory position to take? Also, are you still Episcopalian, or have you joined another church?
I am just curious why someone who rejects the Catholic fatih feels comfortable praying to the deceased, especially Popes.
It doesnt matter, what religion you are. you can honor and pray to anyone you want. in the end, it's not a matter, of religion, but rather, a matter of faith. just let him be, he not doing anything to you.
I agree with av3rRageGameName. He is my son, I what I think that he trying to tell you is that, not ALL protestants are the same. as you can see martinluther105 is praying to our great holy pontiff Benedict XV who was catholic. both me and my son are catholic, and so I think that you should at least be greatful that this man is inspired by the work of this great pope.
The teaching of the Holy Catholic Church is contrary to what you have just stated. In the words of Our Lord:
Matthew 7:21 - "Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven."
We must do the WILL of God, and be part of the Church Christ founded. You may respect the greatest of saints, but they will tell you that you must do the will of God!
I completely agree with you! it's just like what our blessed lrod said. Mathew 4:4 "t is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God." and the mouth of god are the saints, who proclaim what jesus taught, and jesus taught us to do the will of the father. I do not know the mind of martinluther105 but I say unto you, love and respect one another, and pray that they may know the truth.
Episcopalians and Anglicans have a sanctoral calendar, and they also esteem the Bishop of Rome as one of the great patriarchs of the Christian Church; as the most senior, in fact. I think you fail to take into account the Catholic-Protestant 'hybrid' nature of the Anglican Communion. High Church Anglicans are more Catholic in their practice and devotions, in fact, than are typical post-Vatican II Roman Catholics.
What are you saying "bitch Separatist" it doesn't even make sense!!! Speak clearly, Pope Benedict XV worked extremely hard in trying to stop the Great war, but he was totally ignored, he lived a very restricted life, being under house arrest and never left the Vatican until his death.
That Pope did an extraordinary effort in order to make the peace in the WWI, and specially, to help the thousands of victims because of that War. He also abolished the veto, which allowed some rulers to interfere in the Pontiff election (he wasn´t nationalist). Yours critics are completely unjustifiable. You may correct yourself and be polite and reverent.
Benedict XV is one of the most "forgotten" popes of the 20th century. His pontiff began in 1914 at the beginning of WWI and ended in 1922. Benedict was a great peacemaker! I was deeply touched when our Holy Father Benedict XVI chose this name after so many years.
I could not agree more. each morning and night when i have my prayers i always remember this humble peaceful servant of the Lord. I too rejoiced when the name Benedict was chosen but i grow a little sad at the recent events that have shadowed our church. But non the less i still pray for peace and guidance from our Blessed Mother.

why is he moving his hand the same way over and over again? does it have a special reason or something?
sailorwinxgirl 1 year ago
@sailorwinxgirl There is not special reason simply the Pope blesses the crowd and every part of it, tipically gesture of catholic rituals.
