@trwent . . . how did you like the show in Coachella, CA on NYE trwent? I was there. Wasn't it the GREATEST show ever. Vikki was in top form and her line-up of songs was FANTASTIC. Not to mention, she is amazingly beautiful!!

@calicarrfan I thought it was a tremendous show and Vikki was just fabulous and very funny too. My only [very minor] complaint is about the way that she had her hair arranged. I think that she would do better with a smaller hairdo--the real wide way that she wore her hair made her look older than she needed to look. That's just my opinion though.

I also love the Spotlight 29. It is a great casino and also has a terrific buffet !! I also saw Natalie Cole there a year or so ago.

Vikki is one of the greatest singers ever. I was fortunate to hear her when we were students at Rosemead High School. She was very good then and steadily improved over the years. In Feb. 2010 at Palm Springs, CA, Vikki again showed fantastic talent, well worth the 1,000 mile drive. And she was kind enough to sign my high school year books. Thank you, Vikki, until we meet again.

@seg7132 . . . how fortunate you were to go have attended Rosemead HS with Vikki. I went to her show in Palm Springs in Feb. 2010 too. It was fabulous!! Vikki is absolutely the GREATEST singer ever among many of her other talents. Did you see her in any of the Rosemead HS plays that she was in?

@calicarrfan At RHS, I was on the stage crew for two years while Vikki Carr, then Florence, was a student. She graduated two years after I left, so I did not get to see her perform. She was more active her junior year, the year Bob Mackie graduated, and her senior year.

The Palm Strings performance was great. Vikki still has a beautiful voice. I was delighted to hear that she would be in San Jose, where I live, and broken hearted when it turned out to be San Jose, Costa Rica.

That's a shame you didn't get to see her perform on stage @ RHS. I wasn't even born back then. Do you belong to Vikki's Fan Club (VSP)? If not, you should join. It's a wonderful fan club full of devoted and loyal Vikki fans.

She hardly speaks Spanish and ironically she is much more of a respected legend in Latin America :) She's talented in either language anyway. Such a shame that by today's standards a singer of her talent can't sell records.
