  • @Thesnowboardbunny It's not like the dog's owners are treating children in the way you described, or even have control over that. They have every right in the world to treat their pets like "royalty" if they have the money, and if it makes them happy.

  • ok so I don't have a problem with people dressing up their dogs and

giving them beds lined with Egyptian Cotton. What I do have a problem

with is that dogs are being treated like royalty while there are

    children living like dogs.

  • this is nothing!

    greetings from Amsterdam

  • I have so many dog clothes for my yorkie and maltese. Yes I but sweaters and jackets on them in the winter b/c its cold. But watch out b/c in the summer they are wearing their sundresses. By the way my dogs love their clothes. When the see me pull them out they get excited. They just love it.

  • Dogs are not people!

They should not wear cloths. God gave them fur to keep them warm, and if it's too cold for a dog outside, then don't take them outside. XD

  • shut up

  • Instead of saying shut up why don't you try making a valid argument and explain your reasoning behind your thoughts?

  • ermmm shut up

  • And thus you still fail to support your argument with any logical response.

    I pity you.

  • how bowt go get a life u sad old cunt

  • How about you go back to school and learn to spell words accurately.

    bowt should be about

    and u should be you

The idiocy of people astounds me.

  • shut up ya fat yank get a fuckin life

  • Again you fail to backup your words. Well, I'll be praying for you to get some knowledge of yourself and the world around you. Hopefully it will come sooner than later before it is too late for you.

Have a wonderful day, peace be with you.

  • I think you're just being too self righteous. The dogs are well taken care of and they look fine with or without clothes. You're just taking things too seriously....

  • Not really, it's just my opinion. A lot of Dog show judges highly look down on that, and I just think it's a waste of money. But at least you had a more logical argument to make that xPRiiCeYxRFCx did. I at least thank you for that.

  • Some dogs have very thin fur or get cold easily.

  • Sure, but I highly doubt they're all wearing cloths for that reason alone. A dogs fur is made to keep them warm, and many can get over heated when you put things like jackets and coats on them. Besides, look at some of those cloths. A lot of them would be pretty expensive. There are children starving in this world and unable to afford shoes to wear, and yet a lot of these people are spending sixty or more dollars to buy a coat for their dog. That's just idiocy if you ask me.

  • You are wrong. All of the dogs in that video have thin fur plus about 0 body fat which makes them very, very cold in the cold winter days in New York City. And I highly doubt that those people would spend that much money on a coat if their dog did

    need one.

  • Most dogs have a protective undercoat of fur that naturally keeps them warm. Thin fur or not.

Now I'm not saying that ALL dogs have this special layer of fur under the fur you see, but MOST do. There are probably only two or three dogs in this video that would actually need one.

Looking at some of those coats, you can tell they were made for style, not necessarily for warmth. If they just wanted something to warm their pet in cold weather it would simple, and cozy.

    Unlike the coat at 1:22.

  • you are right but hey, if they want to spend money on coats thn thats none of your business.

  • True, it's none of my business. But people hvae been angered by things that were none of their business before, and they will be again.

It makes me mad, but hey, I'd be lying if I said I never bought something that wasn't needed. You know?

  • yes I agree.

  • THe dogs aren't wearing shoes, either. ;)

  • Ok you do not call other people idiots for spending money on their dogs than kids that are starving because it is their money not yours.

  • I'm not saying spending money on their dogs in general. Buying food or shots is not idiotic. I am saying that spending money on their dogs for the purpose of clothing is idiotic.

Perhaps you're right. Idiotic was not the word I was looking for, and I apologize for using it.

I am thinking...unethical is a better word here, or inappropriate.

  • And Americans still complain about their economy...

  • An example of how we tend to "humanize" animals too much. Sort of like Zippy The Chimp, wearing a tuxedo and smoking a cigar. Love them as pets - as animals.

  • Greyhounds need sweaters and or coats on winter walks, they have no body fat to keep them warm. Also little dogs can't maintain their body temperature. They need clothing but it doesn't have to be Juicy.

  • My dog has a bandana, but that's as far as I'm going to take it. God already gave her a good coat.

  • lols

  • i wonder... don't u have to let the dog smell you first before u pet them? I always thought that that allowed the dogs to trust you so petting them would be easier rather than having them don't avoid your touch.

  • man that is over-consuming serieusly

  • Hah nice clothes! Dressing up dogs rocks!

  • IamGengar was here!

  • Yay I love dogs

  • My dog (tekel) has more clothes than me but not more expensive. I like to buy him sweaters for the winter, but nothing else.

    :) :) :)

  • The dog with the little Burberry coat really depressed me...not the dog itself, mind you. The coat.

  • they should have a shocker challenge on project runway in which contestants have to make a super-fly dog coat.

  • haha
