Hm, there IS an A in there! I'm surprised I never really noticed. All I had to go by was listening to a CD and what I played seemed pretty close at the time and I just went with that ever since. I'll probably be performing this song at the Buddy Holly Day "Blue Days, Black Nights" concert in September so I'm glad you pointed that out. Thanks for the comment!
yes!! You have the Buddy Glasses in your new videos, that is very cool :)
This is one of my favorites (I have so many Buddy Holly favorites its hard to choose one but) and I find it to be such a deep song. He was so mature and wise beyond his years... and his voice had so much emotion.
You definitely put a lot into the songs and it's a pleasure listening. thanks
It's a very unique song, and there was nothing else like it back then. 'Course, there was nothing else like Buddy Holly! It captured a feeling of youthful optimism at a time when young people's romances were often considered to be fruitless, much as they often are today.
What are the notes for the picking part. I just can't seem to get it?

Lots of covers of this song here on YouTube, but they all get the chords wrong. It's not D-C-D D-C-D, but rather D-C-D D-A-D.
Good job otherwise :)

This was great! And I know exactly what you mean about this song, and the sound, and it being ahead of its time.
I've listened to a few of your songs now and they're all great. Love the glasses :)
