I love this movie to bits... last night i was trying to find the name... i found i all right but i didnt know the movies name was 'The Time Of Their Lives' Just found out a few minutes ago... and looked it up here to make sure it was the movie i was looking for and it is!
One of the funniest classic movies out there i have to say :)
I haven't seen this since I saw it on TV in the 1960s. I remember really liking it. The end is poignant; the curse is ended and Lou and Marjorie Reynolds are finally able to leave the house and go to heaven together.
My all time favorite A/C movie. Grew up watching them on sunday afternoons along with all the other old black and whites. Brings me back to my childhood ☺

if you love this movie...you will love "i married a witch!" starring veronica lake...(the concept for tv show bewitched with elizabeth montgomery 25 years later...)...both excellent halloween romantic comedies!
5-stars! honestly...i am now 45...i saw this movie in kindergarden...i remembered the title "spirits in the well"...today it dawned on me it was lou costello and a girl (marj reynolds) I just found it searching immages of 1940s ghost movies etc...gosh I loved this movie!...it blew my mind open to issues of spiritualism and patriotism and treason.../ @ milwaukee
@hauntedscarecrowmurd Hi there.....My favourite movie of all times.....Would love to see the whole thing......I'm 50,and saw it when I was in kindergarten,today is the first time since then that I watched the intro.I had no idea what it was called,but a fellow A/C fan told me the title....Sydney,Australia..
