OMG, his version was the first one I ever heard ... a friend gave me "Born Late" for my 12th birthday. I didn't appreciate it initially, not being a classic teenybopper, but once I gave it a fair listen, the album grew on me.
@DaveWollenberg - Thanx for your comments to this and other songs. I like how you show the peak position and peak date. I'm a chart freak as well. Alas, this was the last of Shaun's top 40 hits. The only chart song after this was "Our Night" (#80, 9-16-78).
