  • I hv AS & I hv no guts to inject it on my leg so i always do it on my stomach & luckily my doctor already warn me that it may sting (which it stings a lot for me) thats hwy i dont use the sureclick.

  • Why not just inject it where the pain is?

  • @clintrad4

Injection locations are limited to upper thighs, stomach and back of the upper arms.

  • I've had RA since I was 6. I've been on many different medications. None of them worked as well as this. Trust me, it works so fucking good and it kicks in very quickly. Thanks to it I no longer need a wheelchair or cane. WOOHOO!

  • Thank you god bless u dear I have RA too using enbrel syringe

  • i dont know how to inject my arms :(

  • hi iv got Arthritis in my left hip and im only13 ive had it since i was 9

  • I had my first shot of Enbrel for my Rehumatoid Arthritis on monday sept-5-2011 and like you said... no fun at all. Its 15 seconds but feels like 30... hope you are OK, I'm still in pain.

    Also taking 5 Methotrexate weekly.

  • I've suffered with chronic psoriasis for 30 years, tried every therapy available. Enbrel really was a wonder drug for me, completely clear for several years now. I switched to autoinjections soon after they came out, and really love them. Easy, and I find almost painless. I would give the pain level a 2/10 (as opposed to, say, stubbing your toe 3/10, paper cut 4/10). So if you are thinking of taking Enbrel and are scared of the injections, please don't be. It improved my life dramatically.

  • This was a great video.

I was diagnosed with Spondyloarthritis in my hip at 14, and I'm currently 15. I've been using the Enbrel Sureclick Autoinjector for around 10 weeks now, and have noticed that it is very uncomfortable to use, but not impossible. I'm under the recommended weight, and the doctors were skeptical on letting me use it, but I'm very glad they did.

I've been able to give it to myself for 7 weeks, and my pain is completely gone. It gave me my life back.

  • THIS SUCKS BAD!!!!!!! I would rather mix it myself and do it the old way :(

This hurts!!!!!!!! I was diagnosed when I was 25 now I am 31 and it can be depressing at times. But ENbREL gave me all of my mobility back!!!!!! No more painful walking, bending, or making a fist!

Good Video!!! I will post my video this Friday when it's my second injection with this Sure Click lol

  • i was 3 when diagnosed and i started using enbrel when i was 7. im 21 now... good vid thanks!

  • thanks for uploading, i have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 7, and now i'm on enbrel auto injector since I turned 18. This video helped alot

  • Gosh when you pushed that button I started to cringe cause man it hurts so bad. I have found spots that are better than others like closer to the hip on the outside of the thigh but it still hurts. But it is an amazing drug.

  • Great vid, I will be doing enbrel in 4 weeks and Im nervous to say the least!

  • I hate Enbrel day. do u feel sick afterwards?

  • Thank you so much for posting this I an so nerves for starting my injections and this helped me out so much.

  • I really appreciate this video. I've been using topical treatments for a couple years and am going to start Enbrel next week. I'm super scared of needles, so it's nice to see what this actual self-injector is like. Thanks for posting this. I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with these or what the results will be like, but I thank you for this post!

  • Just want to say I've been doing the sure click Enbrel for a year now, for Psoriatic Arthritis, put it simply, before Enbrel, I could barely get out of bed, nearly 2 hours to be able to somewhat function, took Celebrex for the pain, within 8hrs, pain. Now, I play hockey hockey again, do heavy weights and psoriasis is clear except for a spot around the ear. I was on Methotrexate for some time with Celebrex but we stopped it as there were no effect

I'm no longer a prisoner in my own body

  • @mmlanteigne

I feel as if you did. I have a (new) PSA diagnosis. I should start Enbrel in a few weeks and am excited(?). I want some relief. Moving in the morning is horrible.

  • I just did my first injector, and I did not feel anything.........seems pretty easy to me.

  • Yeah, the sure click isn't fun, as you all have noticed by the tone of my voice. I got tired of the sure click just ramming in medicine at it's own pace, so I recently switched to the pre-filled syringes. MUCH BETTER. If you experience discomfort and injection site reactions, it may be worth discussing it with your doc.

However, you do have to be able to stomach sticking a real needle into your skin...I (fortunately?) have experience doing that w/my methotrexate...

  • i agree, really good commentary. hope the enbrel helps. it was my first day taking it, i was so nervous took 10 minutes before I could push the button. although i agree with elmonogrande, your voice makes me more nervous,ha ha does it get any easier after awhile?

  • I am on the sure click now but I think I am going to ask my doc to switch me to the injection needle. I like to have some control over the shot and with sure click once you click you can not control it and the click noice is so scary to me. I am a big baby.

  • I'm going to give myself my first injection tonight - thanks for your video! It's useful to see someone do it, but to be honest, the dread in your voice made me a little more scared than I was before seeing the video. I gues reality is more important than fake happy faces!

  • not a lot of commentary out there - thanks!

  • good, detailed video on the autoinjector
