  • lol "known for high intelligence" apparently they weren't intelligent enough to swim back from where they came

  • I always thought WTF meant what the fuck

  • Wolf pack!!

  • Honestly, correct their names ! They are DOLPHINS, not WHALES.

  • @Mardigraskit1 No there killer whales,

  • @Mardigraskit1 ur dumb

  • @Mardigraskit1 killer of whales...? idiot.

  • @Y4Nk3r5p4nK3R

    @BlueNwhiteguitarist

@TheUndefeatedLegend They are named incorrectly- like Koala bears, for example. Orcas/Killer Whales are truely part of the dolphin family, closely related to the Bottlenose and False Whale dolphin. I've done my research. Look it up yourself.

  • they should of put dynamite on it and blown it up lol

  • Weird True and Freaky = Wat The Fuk

  • @Jaehyeok123 thats y i clicked on this vid

  • Who would possibly dislike this?

  • @LesPaul4444 Seals. Otters. Polar bears. Penguins. The list goes on.

  • "Fuck you lake and a fuck you humans!!"

  • Jesus that would have been a good feeling to do that.

  • omg poor whales at least there r good ppl out there

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO WILLY. FREE WILLY. HAHHA LOL.

  • where theres a willy.. theres a way

  • Yah that sound making technique has been used in JAPAN for hundreds of years... but they use this method to drive Orcas and Dolphins inward for slaughter and selling them..

  • @MrRayTarded hehe u noe moby means huge in the english language? so moby dick means huge dick

  • @allapplecool how does moby mean huge? you cant tell me in english what another english word means... in english. that just doesnt work

  • @21180 look it up it does mean huge and i dont get what you mean the way u type or speak is confusing

  • @allapplecool Like you cant give me a sentence written in english, claiming that one word means another word in the english language. or else I would have thought you meant it as huge anyway.

  • @allapplecool

"Moby" in your definition is slang. Look it up. Informally it means Mobile Phone. Go to Dictionary . com

  • My most favorite whale!!

  • @Shasha1673 They're actually dolphins. ;p

  • @FFAfish You're a kid :-)

  • Thumbs Up If You Said Aww When They Said "2 Of Them Had Already Perished"

  • anyone wanna toss some samon in there for them?

  • o man i was goin the sell them 2 the japanes

  • @juzpowns Learn to spell idiot..... Japanese.....

  • @ElHuardo learn to use grammer

  • It's really amazing these people worked together to get these orcas out of that lake. Orcas do occasionally swim into rivers and estuaries, but going into a lake is very unusual. It's sad not all of them could be saved. Rescue 911 has a segment on this animal rescue that goes into more detail, and various people talk about their experience. This includes orca experts from Sea World San Diego and Marine World Africa USA (renamed as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom).

  • it's called natural selection.... you just saved a pod of retarded whales thank you for damaging this species gene pool....

  • where theres a whale theres a way

  • did u guys ate the 2 dead ones?

  • Awesome

  • lol at the name "WTF" at first I thought Animal Planet actually set WTF as their video tittle (that would of been awesome), but after reading a comment that says the show is named "weird true and freaky" I was like ahhh

  • who else notice that weird true and freaky abbreviates to wtf.

  • hey my family is dying D: WTF? no srsly im playing red dead redemption :P

  • wow, that was AMAZING!

  • Orcas are damn clever!

  • how the hell did they got there in the lake..

  • @akilisatolitot chasing semen

  • KW(Killer Whale)1:*Checks map* We have arrived!

    KW2:This doesn't look right dude,are you sure it's correct?

    KW1:Of course I am!

    KW3:Fuck you dude,this is a pond!

    KW4:It's a fucking lake you dumb-ass.

KW3:Well sorry for being big,at least bigger than you!

    And they quarrelled till August.

  • Ok u make me LAUGH!

  • Awesome footage! Thanks to the brilliant folks who did it!

  • I love the name of the show it's just so perfect.

  • they should've fed the starving ones some chum or something. You mean to tell me they got the money for a rescue but not food until they figured something out

  • @reverb2020x they don't eat chum, sharks & other fish eat chum.

  • DavidMorganThomas- c2 is from northern california, hence the c for california. I saw the same tv show, the new zealand whales hunt sharks and sting rays(which are related to sharks)

  • This reminds me of Delta and Dawn, 2 humpback whales stuck in a river here in Sacramento.

  • Be free willy :D

  • @swaggerjacker7 bwhahah.... thats a whale

  • @swaggerjacker7 wow... lmao ... but no just no.

  • FUCK YOU DOLPHIIINN!!!!

  • FUCK YOU WHARE!

  • how sad that 2 of them were dead... it breaks me to see one of these animals dead T_T

  • there is a whale called c2 because of its fin from new zealand hunts great white sharks and the whale is part of a gang wich is a gand up to 10 orcars ! and i have seen it on t.v and it is amazing whales are so clever !!! lol

  • ooooooh the exact date i was born now i,m 14 WOW i didnt know about that

  • it just says october 1994 though

  • actually there is a whale out in either New Zealand or Iceland that hunts sharks all the time and she does it alone. Orcas are smarter and faster than sharks.

  • they're there for a reason! let them do what they want.

  • well done for saving them there is good ppl out there.

  • @swringgg no they are going to ignor them and walk past them

  • @swringgg Indeed, don't let the bad majority put the whole of humanity down. :P

  • How the hell did they get in the lake in the first place?

  • .... it explains that in the video

  • man what if they accidently thought it was a orca but ended up being a young great white shark!

  • Think they would know the difference!

  • The rescue was necessary. The orcas were weak and starving from lack of salmon. They can survive on their blubber, but they can't do it for very long. The rescuers had to get them out before they starved to death.

  • In fact an orca could kill a shark alone, go to swbganimals on youtube and there is a video telling the truth. (Orca is a killer whale)

  • Yeah, most people think that great whites are the major predators of the ocean with unrivalled power-they're not. The orcas that kill great whites are actually more likely to do it alone than in a pod, since there isn't enough food on a great white to feed several animals their size.

  • Yeah there was an incident off the Farallon islands of that! A mother Killer Whale decided on having a Great White Shark instead after both creatures were going hunting for seals. The mother and its calf then ate it's liver. I wonder what would have happened to the seals if the Whale didn't decide on the shark....

  • "this technique has been used by japanese"

but the japanese use it to hunt them and eat them

  • actually, no...it is now being said that a pod of killer whales have killed a great white shark before...I mean..the gret white shark cannot kill a blue whale while a killer whale has...

  • i love orcas

  • that is very sad that they frightend them and capture them just to make money

  • This is how marine parks and aquariums capture/d orcas and dolphins. The captors get into motor boats and find a pod of whales. When located, the people begin to make noises to chase the frightened creatures into a small cove. The cove is then netted off so there is no escape. Young, good looking animals are taken into marine parks - never to see their pods again.

  • This is an orca rescue, not a capture operation. Why bring the issue of captivity into a situation that has nothing to do with it? It distracts from what is really being shown, a group of people banding together to save a pod of orcas trapped in a lake. If it hadn't been for these people, these orcas would've died from starvation.

  • why are they called killer whales?

  • They are called killer whales because they are actually whale killers. They have been known to hunt and eat gray whale calves.

  • They eat everything in the ocean. Fish, seals, sea lions, sharks, other whales, dolphins...

  • They also eat their own kind.

  • yeah like in the sperm whale video on this same show they killed one and ate it WTF indeed

  • That's true by cannibalism also extends to their own family. Hungry opportunistic orcas will feed on a dead or dying orca if they have to.

  • if thats true then Y did the other whales inthis video not eat the two that starved to death?

  • @reverb2020x

Because the two that starved to death were brought very quickly into shallow water by the tide where the rest of the pod couldn't get to them.

  • They are the top predators of the sea...

  • I would have never thought of that to rescue the animal. In my terms, that is not how I use rescue. THese guys sure use their brains, unlike me =[
