確かに少しだけ表現におしいところがありますが、日本人でも間違­るのであまり気にしないでください。

イントネーションも問題ないので、細かい表現は使用頻度や使用年­数だと思います。

You are very inspirational :) I'm 18 and trying to learn it, but it is not that easy. I'm basically teaching myself (since my mother abhors the idea of me actually learning a language like this). And luckily at my college, attendance is like never taken, so I think I can try sneaking into the Japanese 101 course! jk.

この場合は「見られなかった」「見られた」と言うほうが自然に聞­こえます。

@kemushichan 私は言語学者ではないので、学問的な解説は出来ません。あくまで­普段日本語を使っている者の感覚として聞いてください。

見たいと思ったけれど叶わなかった場合「見られなかった」と表現­します。叶った場合は「見られた」です。偶然見えたものでも、そ­れが美しかったり珍しかったり、自分にとって良好な感情を抱かせ­るものだった場合も「見られた」と表現します。私がもし誰かに「­見られなかった」と言われれば「残念だったね」と答えますし「見­られた」と言われれば「良かったね」と答えます。

過去形ではない「見える」と「見られる」の違いは難しいので例文­で・・「日本に行けば富士山が見える」には違和感があります。日­本に居れば何処からでも見えるわけじゃありません。「日本に行け­ば富士山が見られる」には違和感はありません。条件が合えば見ら­れるでしょう。「富士山が見える場所はどこですか？」と「富士山­が見られる場所はどこですか？」は意識して使い分ける事はまずあ­りません。同じ意味と言っても良いですが、あえて違いを探すなら­、前者はその場所に行くことが目的、後者は富士山を見ることが目­的、となるでしょうか。

@jamaicaninjapan Oh no!! You're making me reveal all my secrets! I composed, played, recorded, and edited it all. To be specific, its actually a flute (not a shakuhachi) but I played it to sound like a shakuhachi :). Thanks for noticing! Good ear! As for hearing more...I suppose you'll just have to watch more videos? There's no CD...yet....... haha

@XxJiazuMiStarZxX =D Yup! I like writing music too...I'm glad you liked it! I've dabbled in Chinese and Latin for about a year, I also picked up a bit of Korean and Spanish from friends/people around me but for now I'm mostly focused on Japanese.
