the real problem with your country is you want our technology ! NO WAY , man ! Brasil wants to buy the Rafale , it will be very easy ! JUST PAY , ok ! but if you want technology transfert ! maybe in your dream ok..! ...keep buy Grippen or chinese fighters ! :) good luck to Brasil !! gagagaga
No, the rafale f3 is the version complete, the F2 is a intermediate version for bombing with aasm, with F3, you have AESA from thales, meteor, update pectra, pod damocles, pod rocket, final exocet integration, and of course nuke strke features.
The F3+ or F4, will be enhancmeent, performance, furtiv, power m88 9t for ultra heavy configuration, for answer to customer and export, etc.
@XpCorba yes ... but i dont know why customer absolutely want M88 9t in rafale ?
Because the 7.5t snecma with his weight is broadly sufficient seen to be reduced by this fighter in report has the competition of the 4,5th generation others fighters (with 9 tons of increase)
7.5 tons increase on rafale = 9 tons on his heavier (in weight ... lol just in weight) and bigger rivals
but Ok rafale with 9 tons of increase : in dogfight it will be a true monster
@alpacks when they see difference and spanking that it put in the typhoon in November, 2009 in UAE ! when they know that he succeeded has stand up to F22 although he has of accept his defeat (logic) plan has UAE on 2009 : and just with his 7.5 tons snecma ...
is going to put sweating in the whole world in version M88 9 tons ! and afraid a lot of fighters ... the Typhoon will not be able to hope even any more to come back on the heels of the rafale !
Finally we brazilian may rejoice, ´cause after 10 years of much search and discussion with foreign powers, such as US and Sweden, we have become to an agreement with France for the buying of 36 Dassault Rafale F3 Multirole Fighters, wich will boostly improve the defense of our land to the present and future threats, specially to the amazon basin and the "blue amazon" (the pre-salt oil reserves).
I would like to know why the French couldn't have put a retractable probe on the Rafale As there are limitations to a Bolt on Probe from less maneuverability reduce cockpit visibility larger radar return. It is just surprising as Rafele is such a advance plane that Dassault didn't think about this. Looking forward to see if Dassault gives the UAE what they want for there contract of Rafale F4 Uprated M-88 engines AESA Radar. I think these items will make the Rafale a better export contender.
This aircraft is a (very) light aircraft. Adding a retractable fuel probe is adding a lot of machinery, a lot of weight. Plus, a retractable probe, even if better for aerodynamics, is fragile because it's retractable (at 400+ mph, it's submitted to very great forces).
So Dassault preferred to study a non-retractable fuel probe and to make it the less impactant possible for aerodynamics. At the end, the little aerodynamics loss balance the weight gain.
@RGpranin the probe has a very weak impact on the rafale ...
rafale is highly maneuverability with duck-plan
and rafale is just a half stealthy like all 4.5 th fighter generation , dont worry for that dassault this impact was studying, if it is not retractable it is that his impact is extremely weak !
this is prove degrees of optimization simply that this plane accepted !
lot of fighters need retractable probe because because optimization was less than has this fighter
el Rafale F3 sera equipado de un casco digital como el helicoptero americano Apache, que permite al piloto apuntar el misil al objetivo mirando el objetivo atraves su casco
