Sony is being sued over this matter currently, because apparently the settlement Sony agreed upon was "allegedly" for PS2 only, not for PS3, so the patent holder is suing Sony and Microsoft. The one going on now is for XBOX 1.....the new suit is for XBOX 360 and PS3.
I'll reference it in the next post for you.

That amount of money is nothing compare to the big o'l corporation like Microsoft. They can get out of this problem without much problem. However, this will be a big blow to their Income plus their warranty expense is not looking good either. Microsoft's price for their stocks will surely drop after all this problems are solve.
