The Vietnamese army were still here in 1997 coup, why would just left Cambodia like that if their politicians and illegal immigrants are still here? However, KR and China unders estimated the battle experienced NVA. If Vietnam pulled out early, there would had be two senarios: 1) KR come back and kill more, 2) Cambodia would be ran by China.
