@Ryenobal That was true, even with his 38", 39" long arms and shortening his dribble it was his main weakness and playing point even with lefty Goodrich it was tiring for West because they would often press him full-court.
Smooth, smart ,poker-faced incredible ball-handler and pick pocket Clyde was a snappy dresser and classy role model. Celebrities in this era should take a tip from Mr. Frazier.
Walt Frazier was an awesome basketball player and was a key part of the knicks dynasty in the 70's and was one of the best basketball players of the 1970's and he was also an awesome commentator with his rhymes LOL and he's right up there with Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, and Magic Johnson as those four players where the only players that were dynasty teams of their decade at least that's what I think anyway
Frazier was great but West was playing on 2 injured hamstrings in that 7th game. West's career stats dwarf Walt's by 10 ppg, and he was just as good if not better on defense. Both were fine passers and rebounders for guards, and great in the clutch. But West is in the top tier of the best 4-5 guards ever in the NBA. Walt is int he next tier just below. West was 1st team All-NBA at 34; Walt was retired at that age. When they had their 3 great 70s Finals West was much older yet still better.
If Black Dynomite was a basketball plaer, he'd be Walt Frazier. Totally underated because of being w/ Reed but it's whatever now. He's in the HOF, and on the 50 Greatest Players list.
it amazing Clyde taking the ball from Jerry West whose image has become the logo for the NBA. maybe they should have made the image of Clyde taking the ball from West the image. Clyde had the "Magic" Game before Magic was even heard of!
Too bad 1970 Game 7 is remembered as "the Willis Reed game." Should be the "Walt Frazier game." 36 points, 19 assists, 7 rebounds, 5 steals. In a Game 7? Are you kiddin me?"
@tishhead it was called Willis Reed game because he force to play even he has injury on his leg.. this inspire his team and brought the knicks their first ring
Why does this nigga rhyme every other word? Like even now when I listen to his commentary on Knicks games I observe him doing the same thing.

I use Frazier's Just for Men. It's the perfect shade of black to blend my beard so it doesn't look weird.

Jerry West couldn't dribble with his left very well so it's not surprising that Clyde would pick his pocket...

Has anyone given a s#%t about the Knicks since Clyde left? Even the Ewing era was a yawn.

As flashy as he was off the court he was surprisingly reserved on the court in terms of style of play.
