  • Thank you Joel I needed that.

  • Your like a snake oil salesman, as long as you can have people send you money you have a job! Your are goiing to sell snake oil!!!!!!

  • @windamloft52 ::: He doesn't need anyone to send him money. He is a successful author and has all he needs. Are you the snake you talk about?

  • I think your selling a load of bunk!

  • @windamloft52 ::: Not growing in spiritual understanding is bunk. Listening to Joel will help you get rid of your bunk.

  • Get what we deserve Joel??? Do you ever read your bible? We deserve hell. Even as Christians we do not deserve one thing. It's all Gods grace. This message is so unbiblical. Paying back for wrongs?? What?? What a warped understanding of Gods word. He is telling people les with these false promises!

  • @joeforHistruth ::: You have a very negative outlook on God. Joel is very aware of God's grace and favor. These are only lies in your own mind.

  • How about using the bible to show Gods justice Joel lol. Not your version of it.

It's epidemic, people are drawn to weak, flimsy false teaching.

  • @joeforHistruth :: Oh, we should believe YOUR version of things rather than Joel's!! Your version is negative and judgmental. I will stick with Joel.

  • @k0smon Of course you will stick with Joel, you both aren't Christians!

  • @joeforHistruth ::: Now I will call you correct on my account. But I will call you a damned stupid fool for saying that Joel is not a Christian. You have one warped sense of Christianity!

  • @k0smon Joel does not preach the gospel. If he did you wouldn't be listening to him. He teaches a flalse "word of faith" teaching that is heretical. He thinks Mormons have the same Jesus as Christians. You won't understand these things, but I threw them out there anyway.

  • @joeforHistruth ::: Isn't the main idea of the gospel to get people to believe in Jesus? Joel gives the invitation after every sermon. The 'word of faith' (whatever that really means) may be heretical, but it is not false. Only God knows what is in the mind and heart of a Mormon, only He, not joeforhistruth, can judge.

  • @k0smon Joel asking people to say a prayer after he just spent an hour teaching some feel good, self help pep talk is not preaching the gospel. They haven't been told the truth of the gospel.

I can and must as a Christian judge right from wrong, truth from error, I must be discerning. Jesus said judge with righteus judgment. Mormonism is a cult, it leads people to hell. So those that are Mormons are headed for hell, unless they repent and believe the gospel.

  • @joeforHistruth ::: Are you sure it is 'righteous judgment" or just 'Christian ego'. Isn't it odd that the bible tells you NOT to judge in one spot, and TO judge in another. Just another indication of the contradiction and error in the bible that were pointed out by Bart Ehrman.

  • @k0smon I can't pass sentence on you or anyone. I can say by what a person beleives or what false teaching they profess as being error/hereitcal/false etc..that it is wrong and damnable, I can also say that if you beleive such and such you will go to hell if you don't repent. It would be hate to leave someone unwarned in their false beleif or unbeleif. It is the epitomy of love to warn others and tell them the truth of the gospel.

  • To all the negative comments see below: I will pray for you

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

  • For half a second I thought Joel was actually going to talk about God's Justice. I should have known that Joel is so far incapable of preaching the Truth. That is probably why he denied Jesus on National TV.

  • @CTYankeeinTexas :: So wrong you are. He never denied Jesus, he just refuses to act as a judge. His truth is well received by his audience. Your understanding is for you, not the world in general.

  • @k0smon He refuses to act as judge? What did Paul say, we are to judge ALL things, not in a condemning fashion, but we do have to decide between right and wrong. (1 Corinthians 2:15) Joel as a "Christian Leader" is commanded to teach people the difference between the clean and the unclean, but he decided to go with a smile and pass the buck. If someone asks you if a Muslim can get into heaven, and we know what John 14:6 says, you say "No, the only way to the Father is through the Son."

  • @CTYankeeinTexas ::: That wonderful bible. In one place it tells you NOT to judge, then in another part it tells us TO judge. As Bart Ehrman says, it is a book full of contradiction and error. The Muslim question, I would answer as 'the bible says..." Then,if it turns out later that the bible is wrong, your conscience would be clear

  • I watch this every time I get mistreated in life because I know God will deliver me from every bad thing that happened to me.

  • What a blessing. God you are an awesome God Today, Tomorrow and Forever!

  • The title of this is "God is a God of Justice." Joel says nothing about the Justice of God. The Justice of God is this: all have sinned against the Perfect and Holy God. And those who do not accept Jesus' payment (we will know who does, by their actions) will spend eternity suffering for their sin. God is a perfectly just judge, that's where the justice comes from. His judgement.

  • Respond to this video... Since God is a God of justice, He would never send anyone to a place of eternal punishment. That is a lie of the bible. More and more people with spiritual discernment realize this. Carlton Pearson for example.

  • I love Joel Osteen. He teaches us how to be Christ like, and that's what people need to focus on. Not religion, who is doing what, or being judgmental . One of the most important things we can do is treating others in a positive way and building a healthy relationship with God.

  • Religion is just groups of people who kill each other to see who has the better imaginary friend... hell, lighthouses are even more helpful then churches!

  • Doesn't Joel get paid well for what he does? Sharp suit, expensive set. audience of thousands....

    Amazing!

I find he and the others (especially Swaggart1) make me cringe!

They think they know so much, that they are privileged purveyors of sacred messages.

What do you think makes them believe that?

    Hmmmm!

Or maybe they don't believe it, and are total con-men!

Whatever they do believe, it's not the bible, because that says that they can never go to heaven! (Camel - eye of needle ..yes?)

  • @StrumstickJoe ::: Joel gets his money from his books. He does not accept a salary from the church. The bible says you cannot serve two masters. Those with money don't always worship mammon. See the life of R.G. LeTourneau for an example.

  • True Joel, when God comes on the seen He will do away with false teachers, you should be worried. God never promised us that we would be payed back in this life for all the wrongs done to us. He is lying, again.

  • @joseph82069 you need to read again , he does

  • @joseph82069 God may not have said he would pay us back for every wrong done to us, not in so many words anyway; but he did say, "all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord...", which basically means that if you live according to God's will, believin/trustin in him, he will provide all your need, especially when others seek to destroy you; that which the enemy means for evil, God will turn around for your good; evrythng God does is for his glory that he may b praised ; D

  • @joseph82069 ::: learn to spell. The word is 'scene', not 'seen'. How can we take you seriously when you make such dumb mistakes? For many people, their reward is in heaven. After we are there, we will not spend one second worrying about the things that took place in this life.

  • Where's the gospel? He said we were going to be taught the word of God, when?

As one preacher said, the doctrinal ignorance of the church is staggering. Anything goes for church these days, just mention God a few times and make people feel good about themselves, whamo you've got a church.

  • faith, faith, faith,,faith,,,,,faith,,got it joel,, please move on to knowledge, gnosis,,read horace bushnell

    too difficult?

    too busy?

i'm so sorry you are too busy to learn God's truths.

  • @ RAIDERS200

    yes very elementary,

justice comes very very very very slow,,extreme patience is required..

also note the level of spiritual intelligence joel is speaking to...milk only.

when God shuts down the oil industry, in some years(40 yrs?), you'll see 50% of joel's church go unemployed.

THEN WE WILL SEE WHO IS CHRISTIAN and who is the FALSE, FAKE, PLAY ACTING CHRISTIAN..many are they of the false church.

  • A preachers job is to tell it the way it is without any coating. It is us, the listener, who if we put the preachers word into action do succeed or if we just sit back and do nothing we fail. Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers do exactly what they are doing. They tell/preach to us the way it is and now it is left upon this to put their words into action or do nothing. It isn't in their hands but in our hands and in Almighty God's hands. AMEN.

  • the problem with Joel is he preaches superficial shallow messages..

  • @raiders2000 You are quite confused as to what is shallow or superficial. These are practical, usable directions for Christian living. Are you looking for some heavy, confusing, controversial doctrinal meaningless mumbo-jumbo? Tell us what you think is the real "beef".

  • 430 yrs is an long time.

  • He speaks NOT the justice of an almighty and Holy God. No, He speaks of God, a twisted version of God, to say if someone hurts you He will get back at them. Yes, it does say "Vengeance is mine!" in the Bible. But Joel is preaching that the justice of God is just paying back those who wronged us with minor problems to them. That's false, read Hebrews 10:26-31, John 3:36, and Matthew 7:13-23.

  • Don't listen to Joel, he's a prosperity preacher only about how God can help you in this life rather than God cleansing their sins and giving them a new heart and following Him. To die to SELF and SELF desires and seek God's Holiness and righteousness!

  • @xRONx89 Joel preaches to a Christian audience. They are already past the point in their Christian lives where they need to hear the salvation message. Joel is doing exactly what God wants him to.

  • @k0smon Joel preaches a prosperity message and it's going to send them all to Hell unless they repent. The christian life is a life of faith continuously seeking after the love of Christ behind the Gospel. Not you get saved and move on to bigger and better things cause there is nothing greater than the love of God behind the Gospel. That is our hope. We MUST repent and seek after Christ for what He is, not what He can "give".

  • @xRONx89::: So how is the prosperity message a sin? And what will we repent of? Having money and we all go on welfare? Whoa, what a blessing! Constantly seeking after the love of Christ? I thought we had that for the asking. Not you get saved and move on? I suppose you want us to kneel at the foot of the cross forever and plead for our salvation. You do need to move on. Spiritual life is (or should be) a progression of love and understanding and helpfulness. Don't throttle the spirit.

  • @k0smon Prosperity message IS a sin (2 Timothy 4:3-4) and it's not a sin to have money for our needs. But it's a sin to store up the treasures of this world (Matthew 6:19-21). Also, we are saved when we REPENT and BELIEVE in the Gospel. That by faith we see our depravity and our need for Him and He graciously saves us and our life is to know more and more of Him and that love behind His finished work in awe and fear.

  • @xRONx89 That scripture reference doesn't fit re: sin of prosperity. Matt 6:20 says to lay up treasure in heaven, and that is what is happening with Joel's congregation. They are learning to trust God for their supply. They get the best of both worlds.

You seem to be stuck at first base. I am probably repeating myself, but Joel's gift is as a teacher of Christian living, not as an evangelist. The majority of his congregation have already done the repent and believe part. Meat- not more milk.

  • Well said jack !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow is so owesome..thanks for uploading..

  • Hi, thank you for the uoload. I really like this sermon and was enjoyin it. where's the rest of it please or do you know where I can watch it?

  • "You are the apple of His eye, you are his most prized possession" (5:05)

Sounds an awful lot like idolatry to me... Last time I checked, God was the most important thing to God. What we "deserve" is death and Hell because every one of us has sinned.

Where does he get the impression that we deserve riches or to be the CEO of a company?

And is it not enough to be children of God?

  • @wilsa122791

well hes saying that God loves every one of us and is precious in His eyes.. don't take it the wrong way. We DO deserve to die because of our sins, but God sent Jesus to die for our sins.^^

  • @wilsa122791 very true

  • @wilsa122791

thats what we deserve before we accept Jesus as our lord and savior, accepting him is what will keep you out of hell. acceptance is us saying that we are wrong and that God is the one and only in my opinion and that and stead fast belief is what give you ever lasting life

  • @dadubs35

Once we accept Jesus' gift paying for our sins and put to death the wicked ways of the world, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we are able to be Christians.

Works are an evidence of Faith not a means to heaven. Therefore, living a moral and upstanding life is not enough to gain salvation.

Not sure if that's what you were saying, but just clarifying

also, God does love us most because he gave us the power of free will

  • @dadubs35

God loves us because while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

He loved us before we knew Him. Its a bit of a better argument than saying God let's a choose what we want...

  • @wilsa122791 You are quite near-sighted. Joel preaches to a Christian audience and they are all 'forgiven'. After you are a child of God, you must live and grow, so no, it is not enough just to be children of God.

  • @k0smon

It is a very unhealthy biblical worldview to believe that after becoming a follower of Jesus, He will give us an abundance of worldly wealth. The only thing God promises in terms of our possessions is that He will provide exactly what we need.

Being a child of God and worshiping the Almighty Creator is what its ALL about! The only thing we "grow" in is our relationship with God, not through material possessions or by career opportunities. All of those are mundane and pointless

  • @wilsa122791 As a parent, you want your child to grow, to learn, to mature, (so he'll get the heck out of the house). God wants the same for His children. Joel is teaching Christian living. This is his Calling. He is not an evangelist. Not all there are going to get rich. He is blessing his followers. Listen to some of their testimonies!

  • @k0smon

I imagine he is a fantastic seminar host and good at giving inspirational speeches, but the pulpit is not the place for him to do that.

Christian living seminars are good to attend for the sake of getting a Christian perspective on how to handle things like finances and ethics.

Its the pastor's responsibility during the service is to raise members of the congregation to seek after God through in depth exposition His Word (as well as through worship and praise, i.e. worship music, etc.)

  • @wilsa122791 Joel and his staff are quite adequate to determine what use should be made of their pulpit. It is obvious (to me at least) that Joel is serving his Heavenly Father in the best way he can, and is blessed because of it.

  • @wilsa122791 Did you get rich when you became a Christian? There is a lot more to it than that. There is a mental process, and an attitude process, that has to take place to get these things to happen. That is what Joel is teaching.

  • @wilsa122791 pls read joshua 1:8-9 or read the whole bible so that u will be enlighthen.
