u have the aem tru boost controller right, i just ordered mine and my buddies were sayin its pointless to use it since im gunna get it tuned on flashpro, is it pointless that i have it?

@BboyKim2008 no i have the Greddy boost gauge and Greddy Profec Type-S Boost Controller for right now. are you going to buy the Hondata Boost Solenoid if you are you dont need to buy a boost controller,with the Hondata Boost Solenoid you can rise and lower the boost and you can boost by gear with Flashpro.

@djza4321 Greddy turbo kit comes with a header manifold, and dc headers are for allmotor not turbo.go to 8thcivic.com you can learn alot things about turbo on this civic

I got the clutchmaster stage 3 with the flywheel ,I have it for a month now and I can feel the engine response is better,the turbo lag feels the same it picks up at 3000rpms.

Did you replace your clutch when you install the greddy turbo kit? Is that required? Did you experince alot of turbo lag?

i would love to see you run 400 horsepower with out blowing your oil pan straight through your hood u moron.first off they dont make a T51Z turbo for our car its a T517Z turbo.and if you boost more than 9 pounds in our car without getting a higher compression ratio you will blow your engine and/or many other things like snapping a halfshaft. u wouldnt necessarily blow your tranny out with that much power...it depends on how you use it. so dont call me ignorant cuz you dont know who i am

really so you need HIGHER compression to run more boost??? jackass your supposed to LOWER the compression of the motor to make higher boost levels safer.... Also the there are people running 12-15PSI on stock internal K20's so learn about a car before you try to "school" someone else

I have one k24 making 350whp/350tq on a stock block running perfect now that he has a twin plate clutch OR would you like to see my friends 480whp RSX racing(still losing though) on a stock k20a2. Take your pick.. Hahaha high compression!??? You'll break your tranny before you blow the motor.

because if you have stock internals...our engines can only run 9 pounds at which theres no way in hell you can gain 105 hp to the wheels and close to 100lbs of torque with 9 lbs of boost MAX

You need to be educated sir. Our stock engines can only run 9psi? That's such an idiotic statement. 9psi on a Greddy T51z turbo makes around 280, and 9psi on,say an Precision SC61 will make just over 300. A K series block will hold 400 easy. You'll snap an axle or blow a tranny before the motor. Ignorance makes me sick...

Thats all personal opinion. Both are great cars but the RSX has much more parts available for it at the moment.
