Mostly a good cover, but the intro solo bothers me a bit. It sounds great with either the flanger or the wah, but with both it just sounds obnoxious. The pace in general is also a bit faster than it should be for a song like this IMO. Would still listen again, though.

I think a lot of music critics fail to realize it's pretty hard to fulfill the dream of becoming a professional musician in the first place, other then natural talent that is required, it more then likely takes a wife with a good paying job to sport such a habit.

I love how sonata made this complelty their own. the song is about suicide and i always felt like kirks solo at the end was supposed to represent the person going through the last moments of his life. it sounds like a mix of crying out for help and utter desperation which is why it fading out is so perfect. this ending gives it more of a happy feel. almost like an alternate ending where the person choses not to kill himself
