i had fun with this stage because i made 2 teammates get captured so i can play as only one. tails has unlimited flight but the flight gague decreases when u move around. as knuckles if u use the triangle dive by himself, it kinda relates to him gliding.

Score. But time plays a big role as it gives you a great ammount of the score needed.

@TeamChaotixBR In Sonic Heroes in a way it is, but you don't have to try to speed run the stage to get A ranks you have to make sure you get score bonuses from defeating robots and such just don't be TOO slow while you do it. (Like taking 10 minutes to beat the stage). Now if you're playing shadow the hedgehog yeah its way more based on speed than stopping to beat enemies. Hope that helps you to understand on how A Rankings work.
