Mr. Lanier gave my law school $7 million to build an addition that effectively doubled the size of Texas Tech School of Law. I wish I could thank him in person for making my experience here so much better. Something that's really inspiring; he didn't have a job late in his third year. A lawyer from Houston recognized his talent in a moot court competition and hired him.

Mark Lanier! the man!!!!! young lawyers should aspire to be more like him...but I guess it'd not be possible with his gift for communication...anyways...Mark Lanier is a great lawyer who will go down into legal mythology

Texas Tech and Southwest College of Law in Houston trains litigators not philosophers. They are very good speakers.
