So... how many folks out there would work this kind of job? PROs: Work from home, part time, up to 20 hours a week. Weekends off. CONs: Though promised $12-$13.50 an hour, you rarely make that. You gross more like $6-9 an hour and salary fluctuates daily. You can only ask for 1 day off a month, forget about 1 or 2 weeks vacation. You get no benefits. Paid monthly, getting paycheck 4-6 weeks after the month worked. Vote thumbs up for "Yes, I want this job!" and thumb downs for "Walk, baby, walk"
God damn... I remember my shortest straw ever.... I was 19 years old back then and had to pay my rent one way or another. Well... I tried and tried to find a job and nothing came up until someone told me that the local sanitarium had an opening. I went to the office and applied not even looking at the contract. "Congratulations young man. You are now the cleaner in this facility" I've never done and never will do anything like that anymore. Cleaning up loonies shit and piss from the floors...
@MartinLuther444 regardless of kwall360's reply, most people that came to this song think DAC sings like a true American artist. Sorry if you don't. Shouldn't have come here, brother.
I've had moments when I wanted to say that very same thing! Face it--some jobs stink to high heaven, as do some bosses and coworkers. And there are probably few things worse than being stuck in a job you hate.
@lindenmeadow Yeah, I had a moment earlier today where i did tell Rogers Trucking to take this job and shove it ! They are one of these trucking companies that want to run u to death, and then run u to death some more, and pay as little as they can get by with !
@coywmoore I've done jobs that paid peanuts as well. Too much work for too little pay... Yes, jobs like those probably inspired this song in the first place!
To Howard Christian of Yelm, Washington: Take this job and shove it! I ain't workin' here no more you tightwad piece of shit! Been there 5 years, no raise, no benefits, nothing. Fuck you, I'm going back to college and I hope you die in a car fire! *middle finger*
@GREYBOYER1 you can quit but with written resignation, write down the lyrics of this song and give it to the boss before you do something humiliating to the boss :P
