Yes, it is the same guy, L Double was one of the 3, He fell out with the rest of the group due to musical differences! they were going more commercial/crossover while he was still true to the underground sound, you only need to listen to his early solo work to know that he was proper underground!!
This was up there with the tube as groundbreaking historical music television and will never be repeated.the two shows really had there ear to the street in terms of what was being listened to by the yout dem...respect to the massive
I agree, the basslines on Unique 3's 'No More', 'Rhythm Takes Control' and 'The Theme' were something else!! And criminally underrated.. the inventors of the bleeps and sub-bass sound. Thanks for sharing... peace.
