Yes, we have the freedom and rights to examine our Gurus action, but if we always have doubt, it is very difficult for us to focus on the teachings as we are always focusing on the flaws of the teachers, or why your teacher did certain action which we might not comprehend with our selfish and short-sightedness of worldly affairs and so on.
What Geshe Jangchub Dorje said is what Tsem Rinpoche always says- to be firm and stable with their devotion and faith in ones Guru, and not to be influenced by what other people might say to shake their faith. But I dont understand why? I think we should have the freedom and rights to examine our Gurus action.
This video reminds me of why Buddhism is a religion that moves with the time and is very popular in the West right now. Times and peoples way of thinking have changed but the value of Buddhist wisdom is timeless and everything is based on logic, rather than blind faith.
Thank you for posting this. I read Tsem Tulku Rinpoches Gurus for Hire Enlightenment for Sale before, and was quite intrigued with how much Guru Devotion one must show that ones Guru and I was quite sceptical. After watching this video, I realised that it is possible as Tsem Tulku Rinpoche himself has shown and practice this himself not only to Zong Rinpoche, but also to Kensur Jampa Yeshe Rinpoche
This is great. Thank you for posting. I am very inspired to learn that Tsem Rinpoche invited Kensur Jampa Yeshe to stay in his Ladrang, and took good care of Kensur Jampa Yeshe to the smallest details. Tsem Rinpoche really practices what he preaches about guru devotion.
Tsem Tulku Rinpoche really serves his Gurus well, to the extent of tasting food to ensure his Gurus food is suitable, and also to took his Guru for many hospitals to get treatment.
It was mentioned that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche stayed in a small room next to the buffalo shed. How sad. But it shows that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche really has determination to work hard in Dharma and years later he established the Kechara organisation that has 12 departments now. This shows that if we are sincere and work hard, we will definitely succeed.
How nice to hear the story about Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and also his Gurus like Zong Rinpoche and also Kensur Jampa Yeshe Rinpoche. Its very nice to know about Tsem Rinpoches stories in the monasteries. I am a big fan of Tsem Rinpoches youtube!
