@Aiden1504 Unfortunately, they die after they get downed too much times :( The best thing to do is just shoot them so it ends their pain... (I can't believe I get emotional because of a video game character dying xD)

I had 2 doses left. Somehow I managed to give him 3 shots... I felt sad - I somehow brought out of nowhere an extra one, and it ended killing him... Had to load a previous save and guard him well during battle to avoid injury.

He had a weird way of thanking me at the end.

(Me in Jeep Liberty, him on ATV) and he got slammed by a car chasing us (Took different road, overtook and turned around) He flew back and hit my car. You know that scream they yell when the get shot? Right as he hit me. Killed him instantly.

I read on Wikipedia that your buddies have three "lives." If a buddy suffers from critical wounds his third time, he cannot be rescued and dies regardless of whether you try to save him or not. I guess this is what happens when you try to save him.

@FunlilPivot You will always take out the Eagle, but you will drop it on ground after you shoot your "friend". And it has only one clip. You get IEDs back.

One time i got in trouble in the middle of damn no where and my buddy came and saved me, unfortunately we were overrun and she was wounded... i had no Syringes... and i didnt want to kill her... so i had to run a few miles to the closest base... which was pretty far... and i got FIrst aid, rushed back to the area.. and she was gone, I checked my documents and she was missing.... Of course i fucked up alot of the gaurds after that... I still cant believe i left her there, and never found her.

the buddies have 3 'lives' - first 2 they will either get up after one or two syrettes but if they dont get up after 2 you can choose to overdose them with morphine or just shoot them.

its a glitch when they die. I got saved by Josip, he was safe, when I headed toward safe house. but when I checked again it said WOUNDED. & when I sometimes heal them they topple over & are wounded again. glitch

Warren Clyde, when i was playing, was a badass mother f***er he'd kill everyone and would only have to take 2 to 3 morphine. But then i had to kill him later on a mission. The only buddy that died on a mission was that irish dude.
