Jason Bateman has been a fixture of my dreams for years. And I just recently went back and watched (and love) the work he did with the show "Hogan Family." (youtube it) He is soooo tremendously good since he was a younger teenager. And he is so, oh so, cute, then too. He had a very fresh, young, and vivacious outlook to him. I really want him to bring that back on the screen. It feels like life has dealt him some challenges which he overcame but changed him as a person.

He is toned-down these days (and it shows it too much in the films) and taking on what I think is too many roles as an old man, ie, being father of Michael Cera, father of twins in Change-Up. Jason, you are still young, no doubt about it. You can and should take on more roles as a Single, Vibrant, Leading Man! I'm glad he is in this new movie with Olivia Wilde just as that person....a young, fun bachelor. Be fun again!! please. Don't let your strict home life limit you and your life.

If there is one thing I learned about Jason Bateman, is that it's very easy to create tension on the Set when you're talent upstages the Career of Former Child Star Ricky Schroeder. At least he didn't get messed up like so many Child Stars.
