I have vitiligo, which is a condition where you have spots on your skin that are non-pigmented. (Michael Jackson had it, which is why he ended up dying his entire body white) It's extremely hard to get rid of, and it's basically everywhere on my body now... I don't have albinism, but I appreciate your advice on the people staring. Thanks :)

@RettroTopp No... the Vitiligo is on my underarms, (thank goodness it's not on my face and head) and the hair that grows there is actually quite dark. It's really annoying, since I'm a girl, and when I shave, you can still see the roots of the dark hair in comparison to the white skin. Not attractive :/

Anywho, the answer to your question is no, it is not. Although, my dermatologist says that that is common, and I'm lucky it hasn't happened yet.

Awesome video! You are pretty, intelligent, and you have a great sense of humor too! I am a very light-skinned guy and I grew up with snow white hair. I have not always been comfortable in my own skin, especially when the "darkies" would make comments about how white I am and that I should get a tan. I do feel lucky that I still have perfect eyesight at age 43, and that I have never had skin cancer (knock on wood). Anyway, I just wanted to say that your video inspires me. :-)

It's pretty cool that there's an albino person on youtube.

It's a pretty rare condition. So people don't know a whole lot about it. I'm sure people don't mean to offend when they ask stupid questions simply because it's not something you see often. Also, the superpower thing was probably a joke. (My and my friends call the Asian in our group the crazy rice lady) It's a joke, she knows it. And she knows we love her to death.

@ScopedOUT2 it is called Nystagmus. Most Albinos really have this condition which in some cases I guess makes it hard for them to see\affects their vision. If I am wrong anyone please correct me. Thank you. (although I am pretty sure I am right)

Ha ha, sure, why not? I'm not an asshole but i find albinism to be very amusing, well moreso the idea of it. People with albinism are often ostracized, made fun of or just plain discriminated against. I'm black, and i thought it was hilarious for someone to be discriminated against for being too white when its usually done on the opposite basis. Some guy on the bus called me a nigger just yesterday, and then i remembered this video.
