As to the whole Sam vs. Cas vs. Dean debate, I figure:

a) if you want to talk - talk to Sam (though Dean once he opens up isn't that bad either)

b) you want to have a good time (and NOT in that way, though I guess some would ;)) - have a good time with Dean

c) you want to go fishing and/or sit in (a comfortable) silence - do it with Cas

d) you want to fight the Supernatural - choose all 3 ;)
