There ain't a Dana 60 under that thing, look like Rockwell 2.5 tons to me, which are necessary for that much power, that large of tires and that driving style all combined. Dana 60 is a fantastic front axle though, I know guys sled pulling 800hp Cummins on a bone stock Dana 60 front (CAD axle) and not hurt them yet, even with a locker in it!

I think he needs to get a Tranny Cooler! Spinning your wheel for that long will definitely take its toll on an automatic transmission! Sometimes when your stuck you have to put it in neutral and let it idle for a mintue to give the tranny fluid a chance to cool down! But I do like the truck and that stack. A Cummins diesal mechanic friend told me that on the pickups you shouldn't use an exhaust pipe bigger than 3 1/2 inch in diameter otherwise your losing all your torque!
