kelly clarksons version is an awesome version too! But to be honest I'm not sure it would matter a whole lot to me if the bin man was singing it...the song is world class regardless of who sings it! But a good version always makes it better! :D

I was watching America's Got Talent last night, and a girl sang this. And I was trying to figure out who sang it...and I kept hearing THIS version in my head...but couldn't find out the singer haha. now I know :) I love this version.

If you listen to the sound of the performer, then there are alot of people who covered this song better than Bob Dylan. However, if you listen to the VOICE who actually wrote the song and felt the emotions, there is no one who can top Bob Dylan's version.

I love the tunnel vision of both (some) county music fans and people on the Internet in general, who credit this song to Garth Brooks all of the time. Not that his version isn't great, but Bobby D. wrote it, right?
Doubly funny is that Billy Joel had a version the same year as Garth AND Dylan, and Garth STILL gets the credit most often among ALL THREE of them.

But not really - you cannot be jealous of an original like Bob Dylan. THE BEST chord progression ever for a love song. Best melody. And the lyrics - wow, DYLAN you are the ONE AND ONLY.
Great version ... I do prefer Adele, then again I prefer piano over guitar. Dylan's is great, hard to find but worth it if you do.

I hate when people cover Bob Dylan and change the lyrics. He is pretty much the best lyricist of all time. You can change around the music but come on. Can't you just leave the words as is?

I think Trisha's version of "To Make You Feel My Love" plays at the end of the movie over the credits. Both versions are on the Hope Float soundtrack.

If you listen to the sound of the performer, then there are alot of people who covered this song better than Bob Dylan. However, if you listen to the VOICE who actually wrote the song and felt the emotions, there is no one who can top Bob Dylan's version.

a girl on the show sing this and said it was stunning to listen to and brought a tear
to his eye.And he's 6 foot 5 and not much makes him show emotion.Dont watch the x factor

I love the tunnel vision of both (some) county music fans and people on the Internet in general, who credit this song to Garth Brooks all of the time. Not that his version isn't great, but Bobby D. wrote it, right?
Doubly funny is that Billy Joel had a version the same year as Garth AND Dylan, and Garth STILL gets the credit most often among ALL THREE of them.

you know, this song is SO PHENOMENAL that every singer of any note wants his or her version of it. it's like professional jealousy - they just want a PART of it. I write songs. And i am jealous. But not really - you cannot be jealous of an original like Bob Dylan. THE BEST chord progression ever for a love song. Best melody. And the lyrics - wow, DYLAN you are the ONE AND ONLY.
