the hypnocatrice is my favorite monster to kill cuz its easy with a greatsword.very fun battle and the music is festive. it gives the impression that this hunt is literally just a warm up for more serious wyverns. i love fighting hypnos and nargas!

@jakedge3 :) honestly it is much more fun with longsword. I do remember saying to myself like that greatsword is the only hope or the only best weapon but I guess longsword is, too

Good track but if you played Frontier you would notice this goes for any battle at the Great Jungle. Hypnoc is a bi***. My SUPER AWESOMELY STRONG COOL CAT ON ESTEROIDS delivered the final blow in preety much all the hard quests. He has 320 of Atk. ^_^

@doubletricker Well, yeah, but only in High Rank because I haven´t gotten to the G Rank Quests. I´m doing Akantor in Gathering Hall. About my cat, it takes me around an extra half hour and the traquilizer guru skill to do that but you can actually do it. I love my cat!!!

sounds arabic.......... the hypnock is extremely hard in G-Level especially when u got to kill 2 of them at the same time when they are using there K.O. kick and their sleep breath to fail your mission.......

First monster quest you get from the Felyne Elder, which is after you finish all the quests from the Village Elder, I'm not sure what level he is encountered in the Guild Hall, however

Some key quests are required, I can't tell you exactly which though, I'm a bit of an ADD guy and clear every single quest before starting the next rank. Don't worry though, they aren't too bad as I recall

I'm pretty sure you do. Here's a tip though: Use a lance/gunlance and just guard your way through the battle while taking a poke at him here and there. When he does his fire breath, you can hit his body/tail or go for the head if you stay on his neck's left side (the Teo's left side, not yours). He's really not -horrible-, but yeah, he's annoying.

Remember, a repell is all you need to 'clear' that quest

Don't use bows on Teostra or Lunastra unless you're very good at dodging. Their charge is just very difficult to predict. Sword and shield works great though

Use block whenever they charge at you, and run from them whenever they do the "area bombard" thing. Find a right timing and strike. Teostra and Luna weakness are dragon and ice if I didn't remember wrongly

actually their charges are easy to predict, they have I guess an AI for when you dodge and will try to cut you off by running where your going to so you run one direction then run the other
