I love watching these early seasons as it's fascinating wathcing how every aspect of the show progressed, the way the players play the game, the way Probst started repeating set phrases and was more polished and the slickness of the production. What I find hilarious is the use of ADR (Audio Dialogue Replacement) for Probst on the challenges though, its pretty awful...so obvious to spot they had to re-record narrative in the studio later on....

the Ogakor tribe was clearly helped by CBS after Mike´s accident. Before the merge, both tribes should have compete on a challenge, but ever happened. Then, mysteriously Keith Faime won the inmunity and his tribe voted off to Jeff. CBS said Ogakor members knew that Jeff had gotten 1 vote at first tribal council, because Kimmy told it to Tina, but why did not show it on tv? At the end, an Ogakor member won, but viewers thought that was not fair.

I agree, that jungle race was grueling.I'm quite surprised no one was eliminated by injury that season, especially considering the first few episodes.
