Mmmmm nice - and it does excactly what you said it will do - but oil and water and modded PH's are also FOOD for bacteria - so it will go rancid... and it's not a permanently sealed set up on a light bulb - that does last almost forever.

So Kudos for the effort - but I want to see more "DR Germ - Home Science Kits - safe for children" kind of fun, interesting and a reasonable risk of starting fires etc.
