  • That sounds pretty cool man :)

  • keep doing what you do man, love it.

  • @westcoasthaze thanks :)

  • haha nice work :)

  • flids : woot a white and green sh101? hm thougt it was gray/red/blue common>rare order but you are hig m8 sry me my selfe got the blue modded by me ofc or im i high :)

  • Thanks for the comments. It was just for fun though. :-)

  • Incredible equipment, mediocre tune at best. Not trying to hate, just trying to prod you on. Other people have said this needs more variation and I agree. A dash of funk could't hurt either, my booty didn't move once!

  • Can I have your kit? Just a thought! LOL!

    Nice one!

  • One word from a serious electronic musician:

    "Niiiiiice..."

  • Cheers mate!

  • cant go wrong with roland... REVERB would have give that 101 a bit more life

  • How long did it take you to accumulate your collection? Great vids, keep them coming!

  • Thanks for the comment. It only took a couple of months, maybe 3 in all. That includes 2 303's. 909, 606 and a 101. The 707 I have had since the early 90's :)

  • @Tyblubearboy nice tune.

  • I like your programing skills, nice patterns bud!!

    Please also check my video's

  • This is great!

    Nice gear, nice song.

I'm also going to buy a sh-101 in some weeks!

    What's the maximum price in €'s for a 101?

  • Hi, pleased you liked it. I paid £300GBP for my 101 but it is in perfect condition. That works out at €369 so that would be my maximum price for a great condition 101. You may find they are slightly more expensive if it is a red or a blue version.

  • Now all you need is an MKS-50.

  • Great beginning, I can imagine a crowd jumping and excited by the sh-101 killing sound. However, as the track goes on I feel it need some variation or that it never start. Maybe you can try to add more hi-hats somewhere or change the tb 303 bassline pattern, it is too common in my opinion. This is just a humble thought, I hope it is useful for you.

  • really cool in the beginning. should have worked more on that 303 bassline, lost me there.

is the sh-101 doing the stabs in the beginning?

  • Thanks. The 101 is doing the stabs all the way through, like it says in the info ;-)

  • Realy lovely! altough its a litle 2 slow

but he' thats a matter of taste :)

cant u link it 2 your pc?

(instead of using the camera mic)

it will sound so much better

    nice job anyway

  • great gears, geat sound :)

myself own a 909 and a 303 still missing an old analogue synth! i'm in between a minimoog and a sh 101 or maybe mc 202 but i think after this vid it'll be a sh 101 :)

    keep on kickin

  • Thanks dude. You can't go wrong with the 101. I should imagine it's a lot cheeper than a minimoog, although that would be a nice synth to add to anyone's collection. :)

  • Where is the sh101?

  • That will be the synth that's underneath the 909 right at the start of the video.

  • Dude.. i want that stuff you have there! hehe it simply rulez! Cheers

  • Hehe. I've waited nearly 20yrs to own some of these classics. Finally had a bit of cash to invest in them. I'll hopefully be able to post some more vids soon :)

  • yeh , some day i will be able to buy em to, hopefully! Loking forward to se some more of you;)

  • Nice little set up! Like a shrine to Roland gear. I got the same, minus the 909. Just a matter of time though...!

  • Thanks man. Definately get yourself a 909 if you can, it maybe old but it still kicks :)

  • Finally get a 909 this weekend. Bought it from a guy who's also got a white SH101 and an even rarer green model. Get him!

  • Green ? Must be a custom one or he left a grey one out in the sun too long! Good job on the 909 :)

  • That's what I thought too but it's a genuine green model, only released in Japan apparently. It's on ebay at the moment. I'll try and get a picture of it and the white one when I go down and collect the 909.

  • @flidsticks ooh :) that would be sexy then, green in my favorite color... but then again I'd take whatever 101 is cheapest lol

  • @Tyblubearboy

Id guess the white one would be custom too. There only rumoured to exist. All the photos of white 101s on the net are likely to be custom jobs.

If it was an original it would be worth 10's of thousands. Unlikely.

  • @flidsticks I've never heard of a green 101. Must be a custom paint job. There are white 101's in existence but they are exceedingly rare.

  • not bad mate

  • Thanks :)
