I was just at the TVRM a few days ago, and they are expecting to have 630 done within a year. However, the guy I asked about 4501 said that she's being worked on but he wasn't sure about time frame for completion. Right now, the very front of 4501 is off and he said they are working on the boiler. I really hope they complete her for the 100th in 2011....but who knows. Still, the TVRM was fun to visit! We rode 610 for a 6 mile round trip :D
Because of the large seating capacity, but we don't use them very often, because they aren't very reliable. We use them on the trips into Georgia every once in a while and on the downtown arrow.
Wasn't 610 the same locomotive used for Josh Turner's "Long Black Train" video??
