  • Un-natural disaster? The correct term is natural disaster; the event was a natural hazard. There is a difference between the two. Natural hazards happen all the time but it's only called a natural disaster when a natural hazard causes damage to people or property.

    the disaster DID and does effect people and property whether its a road a trail a farm or a house.
