All WRC cars are restricted to 300hp.But from what I gather,the Impreza S9 does 430hp.

its an air flow restrictor that limits the bhp at an estimated 300bhp but some cars produce more despite this as you have pointed out.

All torque does is give that exciting tail slide out of the corner and rally drivers don't really want that happening.
