This sample had me a lil worried for a few reasons. But when the album actually came out I was blown away at how they brought back their trademark sound with a modern slight twist to it. They seriously outdid themselves with MBP

Really nice album guys. Great lyrics. The singer's voice is great, expecially the high notes and harmonies. Guitar work is great as always. Bass and drums are tight and really add to the songs. I hope I get this for Christmas ^_^.

Sounds just like the first Michael Sweet solo album haha. And the only thing wrong with that, was that is was missing the rest of the band. This is nice. I'm glad they didn't try to resurrect the old metal, this is really great inspirational stuff.

War is in the bible yes and is justified when justice needs to be taken when it comes to nations who are evil. But individually we are called to be peacemakers and turn the other cheek and leave God to sort out justice which He will in due time.

It sounds stronger than their last CD. I'm looking forward to buying the new CD. It's so cool that these guys are still making music. They were my favorite band in the 1980's. My whole room was yellow and black! I met Michael twice, once by accident in Anaheim, CA in 1994. His solo band was rehearsing next door to my band. I can still remember flipping when I heard "Shining Star" coming through the walls live and hearing Michael's unmistakable voice. He's a really nice guy and a genuine person.

I don't hear any old Stryper sound in this. The first 3 Albums are classic STRYPER. IGWT was way 2 commercial With 2 or 3 good songs. After that they lost me.. There is some screams and dual guitar solos but only the song at 9:15 is somewhar classic STRYPER. I will go c them this fall but its only because Timmy is in the second set of older material. JMHO but this sounds like another Mike solo recoer just a little heavier.

I did hear that Kenny Aarnoff did the drum-work for the STUDIO. That's so cool as STRYPER'S drummer Robert has 4 kids/ Wife/ family. Each song just builds on me!!!! Guitars- Vocals- drums-------- Good Gosh!!

I like,"Eclipse of the Son" but to be honest, my opinion is that this CD sounds too much like what STRYPER wasn't about. That's the typical commercial christian sound. Guys, listen. Many many drummers and bass players of bands do not play on the albums when recording. Alot of times because band members do not live close together they use session players. Nothing more nothing less. Robert will be playing when they tor this fall. Its gonna be awesome.

I just wanted to reply to your comment about why Robert was not on this album. I can assure you that it is not because of some "past problems" (whatever that means!) catching up to him. Please be careful and not make statements like that over the internet, as that type of statement is so broad that people can interperet it the wrong way and get a fetile imagination. Robert is one of my closest friends. He told me the reason why he wasn't on the album, and it was understandable. Thnx.

Stryper isn't christian at all! Wake up they serve lucifer. Their songs have little if any reference to God, and their lyrics are so shallow, and vague that they have no value.
