Two people died in this chase and I'm angry it is not mentioned. You hear him talking about how a car was hit? Two people in that car died. There was a public hearing against the cop because he opened fire on the car (which a law against such actions is in place in Mountainaire). @nydamc69 NY, do you know what the cop saw when he walked up to the window? Have you ever been a cop and have years of instinct honed to the point where your senses are on automatic alert? The idiot in the truck obviously was going to have a problem with authority - what nutcase climbs out and walks up to a cop's car with that kind of attitude? As for the cop and his 'orders', originally all he wanted was the guy's information so he could check and see if his driver's license was valid.

@nydamc69 continued... Cops, and some regular people too, can spot a liar from a mile away. Body language, shifting eyes/gaze, increased breathing, an agitated state.. All those things possibly lead the cop to realize this man was being dishonest with him. And it's a fact of modern day police work -- if a cop pulls someone out of a vehicle and they don't comply with basic commands, they HAVE to put them on the ground or risk being murdered by a nutcase that doesn't want to go back to jail.

Two people died in this chase and I'm angry it is not mentioned. You hear him talking about how a car was hit? Two people in that car died. There was a public hearing against the cop because he opened fire on the car (which a law against such actions is in place in Mountainaire). The cop and all the police force in Mountainaire are not put through the proper training (hence the law) so place the blame where need be, at least a little on the cop who is the CHIEF of police in Mountainaire...

The bad guy gave a false name and his body langauge from the monment he got out of his truck was that he was going to run. He had a warrant out for his arrest in an other state. Wish Paul died in the crash. He is a dope using, person kidnapping, habitual offender that is now a killer!

I really dont think its the cops fault at all! the guy went through the stop sign! even though its sad, the guy ran and probably would have still crashed into the same car or another! he chose to flee and he cause it! not the cop! say the same thing happen if the cop didnt shoot tire, there wouldnt be a problem with the cop!
