The interview is dated June 2005, they were in Rome to promote X&Y... I've noticed that at that time Guy seemed to be happier,I don't know,maybe I'm wrong but I've watched him in every single interview so far and it seems to me that a few years ago he looked more cheerful and enthusiastic,whereas now he's a little bit gloomy.. but probably it's just a wrong impression,it could be 'cause now he's more mature,I guess... it's just that I adore his smile,so Guy please,keep on'smiling!

I have noticed that, too. I believe it may have something to do with his divorce. Since then, he has been a little bit more closed off in interviews, at least.

I agree with you, there must be something about his personal life that makes him sad.. I'm so sorry for Guy 'cause I adore him and I really want him to be happy,but I can just imagine how hard can be,splittin' up from your wife when you've just had a baby...

and,more over,he is the only Coldplay's member who has divorced,so I imagine Chris,Jonny and Will with their wifes and their babies...but Guy? :(

I strongly hope Guy and Jo can back together one day, I really want this happy end for them:)!

And have things changed since! Coldplay is even bigger in America, so much that they can get away with being political as he was saying on this interview. Well, it also helps that the war is unpopular, we'll have a new President (in 15 days!), Tony Blair is Catholic (I am too, just saying). Politicians are still power-hungry, some things don't change *sigh*
