  • I give it to someone when i grew up, I like this toy, was for x.mas for me when I was 6 years old hahahaha

  • Use to have this and I gave it away it was burst and smashed to bits within a day (yes I hate the people I gave it to now). What to get another one at some point.

  • great comic book art on the box, and the plastic blimp

cool that it came with repair patches

    fun toys of the 80s

  • I had one of these but may asshole cousin sat on it and it popped

  • Brings back so many memories. I loved playing with my TMNT-toys with my younger brother. Unfortunently, I didn't have the Blimp.

  • you removed it from its original packaging! O_O

  • Cool toy, but not as cool as the Nintendo PlayChoice.

  • the song is almost stone cold crazy by queen!! hahaha great vehicle, i love the turtles!!!!!!

  • OMG, that's sexy.

  • love that robocop poster i got one too...and

mine is framed too........its a classic

  • I still got mine in the basement. I forgot about what a pain it was always having to put those fucking tail wings back on haha.

  • i had this cant believe i gave this way with all the figures!

  • how i wish i had this

  • Amazing. I didn't knew it's that big and it's actually a baloon (thought it's a plastic egg with 2 parts that came to each other)

  • Fill it with helium!

  • I had this when I was a kid.

  • Sweet!

  • You forgot about the rubber band. The Blimp has the band to secure the figs like a seat belt much like the original turtle tenderizer off of the Turtle Party Wagon. Another thing the Turtle Blimp II was released in 1991 not 1989. While it's true the Blimp had a rerelease in 1989 it was due to a packaging change.

  • @trans8010 The Turtle Blimp had two different style boxes. The first box or box A was bulkier and had a picture of the Cheapskate instead of the wagon featured with the availible toys. This box proved troublesome as retailers complained that while they took up a lot of shelf space the boxes were also damaged the majority of the time because of the hollow insides. In 1989 the Blimp was then packed inside a slimmer box to combat these issues.

  • @trans8010 Box B would be more rectangular in shape and less hollow but could still damage easily since it's a deflated ballon inside along with a plastic trigger. The box was not only longer and slimmer but with the release of the first Turtles NES game and the Playmates own Turtle Party Wagon the packaging changes reflected those with a stamp highlighting the videogame release and a pic of the Van replacing the Cheapskate.

  • @trans8010

What was the 1991 one like?

  • @TheCastellan The trigger wings and engines were a bright lime green with blue turbines The blimp had a similar look to this blimp but much more colorful sunny yellow with a green turtle shell wrapped around design with many other trinkets and patches and rips added for detail Cowabunga Dudes also is written on the top of the blimp.

  • Awesome stuff

  • try being 4 while building this thing... *sigh* miss them so

  • I still have the plastic part to my original blimp but I have no idea what happened to the actual blimp/inflatable part. I remember the fins to that part falling off a lot.

  • I used to have this, gave it to my friend as I got tired of TMNT when I was a kid.... wait...

Ok, but seriously, I did used to have this. Only messed with the inflatable blimp once and never used it again. It was irritating to mess with at that age.

  • I miss this toy =x It would look great hanging from the ceiling.

  • Dude, I found this at Goodwill for 2 bucks! I didn't know what it was til watching this vid. I knew it was from TMNT though.

  • I always wanted one of these when I was a kid!!

  • I use to have one... then the blimp got a hole.

  • Great Toy.

  • can you fill it with helium?

  • That was the TMNT NES game music plying in the background. Great vid.

  • This toy I'm afraid brings back bad memories for me only because I had a turtle van in one hand and the blimp in the other at the store and I put down the van and bought the blimp...what a mistake, yeah it was a fun toy but for how massive it was it took up more space than anything else....yep wish i had picked up the van instead

  • I was not born in the 80's, but my cousins had aot of old 80's toy and some old Nintendo stuff hey gave to me. One of which, is this. Mine is broken though. : (

  • Wow... just... wow...

  • This is one of my all time favorite vehicles!!!

  • Awesome, im building up a turtle collection again i used to have most of them back in the day but sold all of them doh like many of my childhood toys great review and hope to see many more turtle reviews and collection be awesome

  • Awesome review man, I was looking into getting one. If i inflate it and just leave it on my shelf, will it deflate over time?

  • I always wanted to put heilum in it to see it float.

  • WoW!!! This review was very artistic and professional. Im amazed!!! Ito's review are always above standard. This is high quality stuff. What a gem!!! I can see myself revisiting this video in the future. THANKS

  • @Gingymann wow, thanks man, I appreciate that.

  • The blimp should have gotten a 25th an. treatment like the party wagon

  • Needs mo' helium :3

  • awesome im a huge turtle fan but who the heck is voicing this?

  • @narut0kid13 That would be me!

  • I used to have this! I need another one!

  • I found my original TMNT blimp in the attic last week!

  • @ScrewAttackEurope Awesome! This is one I personally never had but always wanted! I almost stole Ito's when I visited. :)

  • @Mandalorian30 Lol, are there no plans to re-release it like they did the party van?

  • @ScrewAttackEurope me too! Rafael is still on it and there are no bombs left, but it still inflates! lol
