  • I used to ride there too. (I think). Is Bailey still there? (the grey who was absolutely bonkers!) and what about Lollypop?

  • I love to see a boy riding (who's older than 7). Real men ride horses. haha

  • wow lol

  • Haha good job that Is called flying angles.... A flying angle bounce

  • i love how your a dude....and you ride. that makes me smile.=)

  • I ride there too :)

Is that Dan? It looks like it :)

You ride really well, well done! Especially if it is Dan xD.

    ( :

  • @The12345twilight Yeh its old danny boy. Pretty good horse once you get him going and keep on at him constantly with the leg pushing him forwards :P Was about 4years ago this now tho so I hope hes doing well :)

  • @flinty2006 He's fine :) He still looks exactly the same as he does now :) Bit bigger, but still the same, VERY lazy... :) I didn't know he'd been at Middleton that long :L

    =]

  • my instructor made me do this over 2ft6 and it was my first time! glad yours is a lil more nice =] i almost had a heart attack after everyone lol

  • its nice to see boys riding for once (:

  • @HorseRiderSam Yehh I think alot more lads should do it, I had my talments for what I did but I would have honestly liked to see them get on some of the size horses Ive been on and do something like that.. takes balls! lol well unless you're a girl then I dont know what it takes lol. =)

  • @flinty2006 We have LadyBalls xD

  • @HorseRiderSam im a rider aswell! and im a boy!

  • easy906 says all pony/ horse lovers are freaks. if you have anything to say about it post it on her wall. no threats please

  • you need to use your legs to stay straight, as your horse is swering

  • wow, cool jumping :D

  • @amberfinn53 the reins are there for steering. once you are set up on a straight and heading for a jump, if you have a good horse that trust you and that you trust, he should go right over it with or without reins. jumping without reins is a simple trust and balance exersize.

  • my trainer makes me do stuff like that, in fact i had to jump with no reins just the other day. only i had to jump verticals.

  • Ur amazing :D

  • good job!!!! You did great im gonna be learning how to jump but im doing western for right now!!!! :) but good job!!!! :)

  • hehe this looks cool, can i ask .. do u hav to tie the reins in a knot or sumthing ? or do they just stay there when u let go? coz it seems to me that they wud fall and might get caught in the horses legs if that makes sence. :S haha

  • Sorry but its just stupid riding with no reins, they are there for a reason!

  • @amberfinn53 It's not stupid, It's a challenge of trust and discipline. The more you trust your horse, the more your horse will trust you and the further you will go towards accomplishing your dreams.

  • @amberfinn53 Uhm, if you can ride, you don't need reins, you can just use yer legs to steer. So, you obviously don't know what yer talking about. If this boy can jump without putting his weight on the horses neck, & have the balance to have his arms out. He is a pretty good rider. So, yeah.... Learn some stuff about riding ? Thanks.

  • @amberfinn53 please dont judge when you dont know. thanks.

  • @amberfinn53 yeah but you gain trust :D

  • I like that horse!

  • haha! i that is so easy with my horse. we are doing that over 3ft6 verticles bareback, and w/o a bridle. haven't fell once...... yet

  • Comment removed

  • Well he's still learning. Just because he isn't as good as you now doesn't mean he can"t be better tham you later. But that is pretty cool Crystal [:

  • yaaa i didnt knoe she was learing!

  • Ohh [: Well that settles that.

  • very nice i got a question how far apart do you put those jumps?

  • For bounce jumps it's generally about 3 - 4 of your paces, depending on the horses stride. (:

  • woah i tryed that and all i got was a mouth full of DIRT

  • Awesome. =]

Ive done that over a 6 jump 3ft 6 grid before. now that was fun :L

  • I LOVE YOUR HORSE! <3

  • Whats the horse called?

Looks just like one who I used to know!

and the accent sounds right for the place she was sold too ;D

  • i have done that but ur horse is better behaved than mine.....

  • @ilovehorses2255 Haha, youd be suprised. If I posted up some of my other tries on the same horse you'd think different. He'd get upto the poles and dart to avoid and the lot! :\ Takes alot of work but if you really work with you're horse, keep pushing on with the leg have them moving forward you'll be suprised at what you can achieve =D

  • @flinty2006 nice job but it would be ALOT harder if it were high like at the hight were you have to go up in to 2 point but good jobs its nice to see a guy riding

  • Wow, nice job :)

  • i LOVE jumpping without reins :) and my pony is the best u could ever do it on :) haha

  • haha awesome, sadly i have a new horse who is only learning to jump, i miss being able to jump :( ohwell.. i like love jumping :)

  • I absolutely LOVE jumping :(especially with out reins and bareback!

  • lol i wish i could do that!!! my horse has a chronic running out problem so thats kinda out for us =( nice job!!! pretty horse

  • I did a gymnastics line like that with no stirrups AND no reins.

  • good job!

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cool

  • that was soo cool! I've never jumped without reins but I'm supposed to soon!

  • i did that, it was my riding instructors last day, so she was like lets have some fun, i dont care if you get hurt its my last day(she was joking btw) so we did jumping with no reins, then we played a game when all the horses had no saddles and whenever she shouted change we had to get off the horse were were on and get onto another, quite hard with some as they were big, we had a laugh though

  • that was so straight.

i love jumping minus the reins.

    haaha. :)

  • Is fun eh?

I did that except I did it with 1 hand :[

I'm not as highly skilled as you. But the jumps I did where slightly bigger.

    Ain't gymnastics fun?

BTW I'm 10 so it was fun!!!!

  • sweet! try it over big jumps its even more fun :P lol not till your ready i dont want you to die :P

  • wow that was soo cool you should try it bare back next time lol have fun with that

  • wow thats incredible how did it feel?

  • Nice bounce!

  • wooooow coooool x

  • gr8 job on jumping try it bare back, sooooo much fun!!! xx

  • next try without a bridle! its so much fun!

  • what's a bridle?

  • a bridle is the thing on the horses head that helps you controll the horse

  • coolio!

  • Nice...and guys it can be called jumping position, 2-point, half-seat...it doesnt really matter if you do it right.

  • actuay half seat is different then two point.

  • no its not

  • yes. look my video that says lauren riding reno and see. you too point over the jump and do half seet when ever.

  • alinanazarenko1 in england its called a jumping position so get it right, yeah !

    kool vid btw :) x

  • is this middleton park equestrian centre? it looks like it lol

  • yes

  • just to let you know its called a bounce! not a 3 pole jump

  • lol thats what gangstas do in cars with hydrolics :P

  • @flinty2006

hu?? It is called a bounce.... wth are u talking bout~? good video though x

  • @acenkay haha i was gonna say the same thing

  • wooooo (: i have never tried this but i want to! x

  • FYI.. the "jumping position is called 2point

!!! lol just so u know!

  • That's only in the US.

  • really??? whay is it called in other countiries?

  • Well I'm from the UK and we just call it the "jumping position" or coming forward over the horse

  • here in norway i think its called 2 punkt-sits (punkt=point, sits=seat), so thats right. jumping position is a word for dummies

  • wow!

  • dont u just luv how people use ur videos to show of? seriously, everyones just like well i can do blablabla with my horse! and most the time they cant ride! anyway, you did wonderfully over this!

  • I love the SADDLE CLUB and ALL thier songs so ROCK ON saddle club

  • we teach this at my barn

  • i jump 1m40 without saddle ore reins!!

  • well 2 kool person somtimes people just wanna have fun and share it... not everybody thing its easy... they did great and people dont care what you do are you in the video? yea i thought not.

  • thats crap man they r dead low chicken

  • you're a loser. Why are you so mean.

  • wow great balance! good horsey too slow down with out reins. these are so fun!

  • kewl

  • I love doing bounces without reins, it feels so amazing, almost like flying :)

  • how cool is that?

  • thats what i call balance

  • That's so fun. We had a completely no hands lesson a few weeks ago and we did a little

2'6 jump. So fun! Cantering like that is also much easier, I think.

  • Great job balancing! I do that sometimes in lessons except our jumps are further separated. Nice job!

  • every one knows its easy she's not saying its hard! but you must admit to someone that has never done it before it sounds fealy impressive!

  • good balance. btw: its not a 3 pole, its a double bounce

  • wow GREAT balance!!!!!!!!!

  • once the horse is inline and going you would just have to kick

now i would like to see you start from where you did with no reigns there

  • give it peace will you! hes just someone having fun on a little horse, you comment wasnt realy neccessary!

  • no offese to the person in this video but iv done that with no reins and nt stirupps its easy peasy lemon squeezy

  • sweet

  • thats so easy.

  • cute horse

  • we did something lik this before then we went wit no stirrups lol

  • If Yuu Ask Me (No Offence) But When Yuu Were Doing Canter Coming Up To The Jump, Yuur Horse And Yuu Were Very Stiff, When Yuu Do Canter Try To Go With The Movement Of The Horse, So Roll Yuur Bum. It Was At 0:09 When That Happened And Ait Further On.

  • we didi a grid like that with the jumpes gettin bigger and bigger was well fun we had to do head on the first jump shoulders on the second knees on the third.. ect was well funny! xx

  • nice, jumping without reins forces you into the right position

    keep it up

  • i love ur horse! i had to jump a 2ft bounce with no reins...fun!

  • Good job! This is one of the best ways of improving your balance.

  • that was gd riding, well done!

  • good job! btw its called a bounce!

  • good job that was kewl

  • Good job!

I have done the same thing at my ridingschool. But it was a little bit higher.

    Still awesome work!

  • thats amazin'

    iloveit

    gud job

  • good job i have done the samething but the jumps were higher

    awesome job!!!

  • Sweet :) I bet it felt great! :D

I love when I master each new step in riding, though I still didn't dare to try a jump, many people talk too much about it as a terrifying thing.

  • it isnt terrifying if you learn right. start with a pole then a small crossrail and work ur way up. that is what my trainer does. orseback riding can be dangerous but it is less dangerous if you do it right. i think you should try.

  • We had to do that but it was over an 80cm vertical! good job that will get you a reaaly good postion!

  • haha thats so cool :)

  • That was really good. You have a great position. I would be really scared. And don't listen to anyone else on here, saying mean things, you did really good!

  • Good job. Everyone on here is so critising! Dont listen to anyone sayiing shit things, cos you are a good rider, and probably doing lessons. Everyone thats critisizing and sayiong 'ur suck', keep you stupid mouths shut.

  • Awesome!

  • thats was cool but lets see you jump 4 in a row haha jk nice position over the jump and good balence

  • that was cool :)

  • goood job!!

  • nice job. x]

  • Ive had to do that in my lessons before with four in a row it was fun

  • good job!

  • bullshit! I've seen your videos you're not that good...

  • Your horse is so cute!! Good job =D

  • ^ no one cares

  • I THINK I can do it.

  • I'd love to do that but i think me horse would probably run out. I shall try it with him. He needs to learn to react more to my legs anyway. I think you look great btw, height is irrelevant if you haven't got style. Sometimes it's best to keep it low and look good than go higher and make a mess.

  • I would get scared if i had to do that xD.

  • its actually just like jumping with reins if not easier, it puts your body weight in the center of your saddle causing the jump to be alot more comfy and smoothe for you and your horse =]

  • isnt it called a triple bounce? anyway that is tiny, i jump that as 3ft

  • stop showing off everyone has to learn

  • easy easy!

  • u looked gd hun i meba doin this wiv my old pony desmond :)

  • woop,, what a good horse!

  • wow how did u do that i fell of my horse trotting!!!

    x

  • HEY

awesome! GOOD JOB! i have only just started jumping and i did my first jump the other day and boy was it bad! lol my position was like totaly horrible lol. o well i will hopefully inmprove with time

    Good job, keep it up

  • wow good job!! i luv jumping grids to! only, for now il do it with reins!!!!

  • what's that horses name? is she for sale?

  • i done that at ma old riding stables. like once. we havent done it since x

  • Thanks very much for your continuous comments. 11,423 views im absolutely amazed! Thanks so much.

Unfortunately I gave up riding a long time ago. this was at a riding centre in middleton and ring leaders changed and less skilled people moved into the group and I found myself paying just to trot and maybe canter if lucky to the back of the ride.

I think this horse was Josh if i remeber right- really good horse to ride, powerful as well!

it was nerving but i went for it and enjoyed it!

  • gorgeous horse! And terrific job!

I've done that before on a 7 year old,, trained wild mustang who jumps the jumps double than what they are lol and i did a jump shoot with 8 jumps, the last one as 3 feet, and i had to do it without reins AND stirrups! At least i survived. but her jumping twice the jumps forced me to save myself through teh end lol. and then at the end she always gallops off haha.

  • Nice! When i got my first pony a couple of years ago, one of my old trainers took away our reins and stirrups and we had to close our eyes through the gymnastics, it was insane. I was so freaked out at first but in the end I had so much fun!

  • nicely done ^.^

  • i came, twice

  • wow... BEAUTIFUL horse. And great job! Takes a lot of balance to do something like that x-] hehehe. Trust me- i tried.. Only i was stupid and jumped my horse over one of our racing barrels... And once the horse /landed/ I came off. hahaha. Good times x-D

    Anyways you did great!

  • GAY FLINTY HAHAHAAAHAHA

  • Hahaha look at this video guts cant ride!!! Just kidding. love it

  • YAY FOR MALE RIDERS. Rock on, dude. =]

  • wow i do that to but without hands or sturrips and my eyes are shut but anyway your really good

  • Your good! I wish I could do that! I've jumped bareback except the jump was TINY and I was on a lunge line and had reins plus I grabbed a load of mane! Managed to do it perfectly (somehow) and stay on! XD

  • nice! you kept a good position through the whole thing! ;)

  • wow u did good

  • I love doing stuff like this! We had a bounce to a one stride set up and i did it one handed with my eyes shut XD

  • Hi guys, thanks for all the comments. Can i just state I am NOT a girl. Yes it is actually possible for guys to ride :D Can you please leave out comments like "oh I can do better" i'm really not here for competition. anyone that does that must have some sort of insecruity. This was done at a riding school in middleton. I had ridden for 4years but not done that much work without stirrups. Thankyou for you comments, Flinty x

  • That was great!

Not to brag or anything, (you look much better than I did)

But Ive jumped 5 bounces without eyes and hands. Thats how I learned, Now I cant do them with my eyes open!

  • hm, very nice. bounces and gymnastics are brilliant fun. i love them

  • jumping with no hands is easy i did it on my first lesson

  • yeah right well if u did u must have done it on 9.2 hh pony

  • na 14 around that

  • soo u think u can do better

  • yh now i can jump 3, 2ft polls with no rains and no stirops i might try bigger :P

  • omfg that horse is pretty

i love her colour and every thing i want her 4 socks the perfect blaze and every thing

  • Hehe. I did this in an exercise and my horse kept leaning to the right then almost jumped the standard. Lol. Then I was told off by my trainer to keep my horse centered. oops. :)

  • Omg that horse is like every little girls dream horse.

"Uh 4 white socks, and a blaze and a big tail and its all wavy and black!"
