  • I never saw the show. The only version I'm familiar with is "Night Creatures". I actually expected to see Michael Ripper when Hellspite rook his mask off.

  • cool

  • the song soundskiller for the show I hope disney make a new version of it ..

  • good vid, could do without the overdubbed "awesome noodling" though.

  • Great video dude...seriously..

  • what a great reward sign.....another creepy made for tv favorite......lots of good horror is dormant in the vaults of various entities to this day.......this looks like a great film...

  • Great vid! My mom had the entire movie taped from the tv, and my brother and I watched it over and over when we were kids. We sand the theme song, we were the different characters for Halloween, we kinda idolized him. Scarecrow is the coolest hero ever! :D

  • GREAAAAAAAAAAAT COVER passion and power controlled all hail heavy metal all hail MADD HUNTER

  • Jesus Christ, this show scared the SHIT out of me as a kid and I loved it. Brings back good memories.

  • GEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...what's with the screaming music? The ORIGINAL theme was a WHOLE LOT better.

  • My fav Disney movie. It scared me as a kid; and I played this show on my horse! We would gallop and I would laugh like Patrick McGoohan ha ha ha ha ha ha .

  • I just heard about his passing. I'm glad he had that great part in BRAVEHEART a little over a decade ago to solidify his place in film history. Not that PRISONER, SECRET AGENT MAN and even SCARECROW weren't enough.

  • In what way does "updated" rock music contribute to our enjoyment of this video? The original music was better and the singers of the orginal music a lot better.

  • I love the original song myself. I even have the 45 sitting around the house somewhere. I've had it since I first saw SCARECROW 40 some odd years ago. When I found this metal cover I was amazed that anyone had heard the song much less covered it. So that's when I decided to throw this video together. Besides I like 80's screamer bands.

  • Sweet! I already pre-ordered the DVD from Amazon. I'm getting 2 copies, one for a late birthday present for my dad (who's been wanting the DVD forever!) and one for me!

  • Thanks for the tip about Best Buy...I just ordered it. I was 6 when I first saw it on Disney and have been waiting a long, long time for a copy!

  • It will be released 11/11/08 as

Dr. Syn, Alias the Scarecrow and you can preorder it from best buy anytime now.

    Ride on Scarecrow!!

  • Nice video, probably my all time favorite Disney movie.

  • Then you'll be happy to know that it should be released this year in a commemortive tin. I'm a bit excited myself.

  • Loved this as a child! I think it's being re-released on DVD in November?

  • Yes, that's the word going around. In November, and it's about doggone time. HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA!

  • That singer would not be Iron Maiden, would it? It has their sound.

  • A friend of mine tracked it down to a Group called MADD HUNTER. The song was recorded in the year 2000 although it sounds extremely

    80s-ish. Thanxx for stopping by.

  • Great music video. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I love how you use samples from the movie going through the song itself. I don't know who this band is. I've looked for quite sometime and I can't find any info. I'll keep looking ;)

  • Gotta admit, I watched the original seires when I was a kid and if it was remade today this group should have a shot at doing it. Not too much into metal but they have a good sound about them and a good arrangent on the movie song words !!!
