Let's not forget that the man who scored that try, Albert Kelly, now plays first grade for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. He is no slug, and he sold a dummy, a good one. He's got a good turn of foot and he'll do well in his career. My guess is that the defence was more surprised than anything, they would have all been getting ready for an offensive set, and then all of a sudden they have 3seconds to get into a strong defensive wall. It came down to the bounce of the ball really.

I was at this game. It was played at Henson Park - Newtown's traditional home ground in Marrickville.

I'm a huge Newtown Jets fan - they are the oldest club in Rugby league in Australia and were a first grade side from 1908 until 1983.

They are currently in the NSW Cup as the Roosters feeder club.

Newtown are the team in Navy blue who were scored against by Wentworthville in black and white.

We actually got beat 60 - 10 in this match. we had a disastrous start to the season.
