u and me promote the Book Of Mormon, which I believe is true but I also highly estimate Alex Jones and Infowars. U defend freemasonry, which I almost joined myself 1 day. Now I not only see evidence of new world order and the loges' responsibility in preparing the biggest monstrous genocide in human hystory but I also experienced myself how they hinder any good individual initiatif - my struggle is enormous now, since I liked your clips so much!

In Mosiah 21:28 the name of the king has been changed from Benjamin to Mosiah. In the 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon we read as follows:

". . . king Benjamin had a gift from God, whereby he could interpret such engravings . . ." (Book of Mormon, 1830 edition, page 200)

In modern editions of the Book of Mormon this verse has been changed to read:

". . . king Mosiah had a gift from God, whereby he could interpret such engravings . . ." (Book of Mormon, 1964 edition, Mosiah 21:28)

In the 1964 edition, Ether 4:1, we read:

". . . for this cause did king Mosiah keep them . . . "

Because Chronologically King Benjamin was not alive at that time in the BOM I imagine that is why LDS decided to make that change.

I never claimed my info is new but only true. Yet you never even attempt to explain why my information is innacruate. You just brush it off saying it is on the wayside. Why? Because you all have long decided to ignore the evidence? Or because it has all be clearly proven wrong? Okay I have gone over the site you referred me to (the pages concerning plagiarism). I also did searches for other sites that attempt to explain it away. My main issue is not the actual plagiarism where bodies of text are transplanted from the Bible to the BOM. My concern which NO site has been able to defend is the REASON KJV Style Language was used at all. The Old English style Because Smiths time period was well after KJV language while the time periods in the BOM are well before it.

The language should have changed from an ancient language directly to a modern language. How can that be explained? I am honestly asking, I am not being sarcastic and I believe it is a fair question.

Also a lot of issues that I am asking about can be debatable (though I did not think it possible). So let us discuss the things that are not up for interpretation and theories. Smiths prophesies that he clearly proclaimed that have come to be wrong. How does one ignore that? The Bible says a prophet that prophesies things that do not come true is not a prophet of God. So because Smith has falsely prophesied on many occasions how is it not clear that he is not a prophet of God?

Also we can say with certainty that on one occasion Smith lied about the Reformed Egyptian text. In the Pearl Smith claims that Professor Charles Anthon proclaimed that the text was Reformed Egyptian Hieroglyphics. When Anthon discovered this he wrote a letter to E. D. Howe refuting the claim. Anthon wrote The whole story about my having pronounced the Mormonite inscription to be reformed Egyptian hieroglyphics is perfectly false

Why do you always begin with the premise that Joseph Smith lied?

Did you not read how I know he lied? Smith made a claim in the Pearl about a Charles Anthon. Then Anthon denounced Smith explaining that he did NOT make the statements Smith claimed he did. This is the definition of a lie and Smith made this lie to promote the BOM. With the knowledge that Smith is a liar (about very significant claims) and the knowledge that Smith has made false prophesies then how can you justify trusting Smith and thus following the LDS Church?

Keep in mind I am not talking about insignificant white lies. I am talking about quite a considerable and critical lie in efforts to obtain converts for Mormonism.

We don't worship Joseph Smith. He was a man just as we are. He was subject to temptations just like we were. Moses, Noah, Abraham, and so forth all had their flaws, too. So does that enought to denounce the bible? The Church is true, but the people are human.

Anthon also wrote the paper contained anything else but Egyptian Hieroglyphics. For arguments sake lets assume that the text was in fact Egyptian Hieroglyphics and Anthon was mistaken or was not knowledgeable enough to make an educated statement one way or the other. Then why still LIE about it? Why would Smith continue to claim Anthon verified the text? Why not get a second opinion from a different expert and use his testimony?

Lets even say that no one at that time was knowledgeable enough to say one way or another. According to a vid you made some are just recently making conclusions about Reformed Egyptian Hieroglyphics based on new studies and research that was not available then. So Smith wanted some testimony but no one else could give one. But if the BOM is truth then there is no need to Lie about a testimony. If it is Truth it will stand on its own.

Either way because Smith lied it makes everything suspect. It makes the truth of the BOM suspect. It definitely makes the truthfulness of Smith suspect. If the writer of the BOM is a liar then it follows that he should not be trusted and the BOM should not be believed. God may change a bad person into a disciple or prophet for Him but they do not continue to be evil especially when creating a work from God. God would not allow deceit to promote His latest testament.

Also the site you mentioned did make the issue of some Benjamin to Mosiah translating claims to be muddled and inconclusive. It claims that the person claiming the error mixed up the phrases so when he said that there was a correction because it they do not match up he was mistaken because the old passage in question DID match a different passage in the new BOM. However assuming that was true it does not address the more unmistakable examples.

The examples I gave above were not mentioned on the site and you can see that the phrases are identical between the new BOM and old EXCEPT for the change from Benjamin to Mosiah. It is NOT an instance of taking one phrase that included Benjamin and attaching it to a completely different phrase (in its entirety) that included Mosiah and then we cry foul. These are clear and significant corrections. Not minor spelling, or grammatical claims.
