Hey AMAZING / AWSOME Video :) Now ur biggest Fan ;) Hey which programms did u use for the final cut? I mean to make the vid like that :) I like it very much and want to do something like that too - but Ive to learn from (for me) pros ;)
amazing video. the weakest link is the part where the camera is moving along balloons. I was expecting that to look much smoother. its probably caused by inability to control the random movements of the balloon where the camera is fixed. The movement is like watching a heavy graphic computer game on a slow computer. I think more frames on that scene might look better or its not?
@cench I made a gyro stabilized 3D rig to shoot from the balloon, but I realized a couple of days before heading to Reno that I needed more parts. I ended up turning the gyros off during the flight. Those shots were taken with 2 Nikon P7000 cameras and the fastest intervals we could get was 3 seconds. For 10 seconds of video it takes 15 minutes to shoot (almost impossible from a moving and spinning balloon). I had to slow down the playback speed because those scenes were very short.
That was an incredible video, I grew up in reno as a child and remember every fall seeing the balloons in the air.
